Walmart Vision & Glasses, York PA

Ruth is very unprofessional. Very lazy as well. Had a scratch in my lens after two months. Went in for a replacement under my warranty and they said my prescription was invalid so they couldn’t honor the warranty. I even attempted to get a new prescription and they said that was not acceptable. Ruth was very rude. Probably just mad that I interrupted snack time because she still had food on her face. The “manager” on duty was no help she was busy belching at her station.

Stopped by Nov. 11 2: 30pm to look at the new Arnette eyeglasses. Older woman is at the computer, not another sole around, I'm standing by the wait here sign and am not even acknowledged. After several minutes, I ask if I can look at some glasses. She asks if I have a prescription which obviously I have since I'm wearing glasses and informs me I can't try anything on. I tell her the West York store allows that and is much more friendly. Her reply is " well they're different". Most unhelpful person I've ever encountered in a retail store. End of potential sale here!

I found in East Walmart vision center Eye Doctor Chris that found my perfect prescription for my Eye glasses

I just love Ruth and Sandy! They are always so helpful. There is a lot of ppl that go through this vision center and they do there best to get to everyone! They take there time and answer all your questions.

This is definitely the worst place I have ever visited for an eye appointment. No one is friendly and no one knows what they are doing there. I've been back 4 times for different trials. I called before trying to go in for the 5TH TIME and the woman literally said she DID NOT HAVE TIME TO HELP ME! I went in anyway and the doctor said to just order a 30 pack instead of getting a trial so I did not have to come back in. But, then he ORDERED TRIALS FOR ME. It has been over a week and they still have not called me to tell me the trials are in. When I called in, the woman Jen was so condescending saying "Sorry, honey, your trials are not here yet, some take longer than others. " OVER A WEEK? ! I don't think so. I have a feeling the doctor never ordered trials and they are just miscommunicating. If you want poor service and to deal with IDIOTS, go here. If not, I highly recommend going somewhere else. I will not be going back to this doctor again.

Don't bother calling. You'll never get anyone to answer. I spent 30 minutes yes you read that right. 30 mins with it ringing, no answer. If they want my business, they need to improve on customer service or hire someone specifically to answer the phone. Unreal.

I had an appointment at this location at 6pm, left work at 4pm and arrived at 5: 58pm to find out the doctor wasn't in and I was told I was called to reschedule. I proceeded to tell the receptionist I wasn't called bc I have vm and my phone is with me 24/7 with no missed calls. The manager then apologized and said oh everyone was called but you I don't know how that happened? '!? !?
Very unprofessional and no ownership of there mistake the receptionist tried lying claiming she called me until the manager spoke up.
I will not be returning to this place even though I was going to give it a try since the doctor from Pearle Vision worked there.

The Optometrist at the East York Walmart has been there for over 7 years. Dr. Malave is very good. He will spend the time with you that you need. He is very knowledgeable and pleasant to deal with.

Ive tried calling for 6 days and all I get is the phone ringing. No one answers the phone. Not very good customer service! At least have an answering machine and call people back.

How long is too long to keep someone on hold?
At 22 minutes I hung up. This was after they picked the phone up and immediately hung up the first 2 times I called. The third time they answered, told me she would quickly put me on hold while she finished up with a patient. Well.guess she "quickly" forgot about me.

Worst customer service around! No one ever answers the phone and if you are lucky enough to get someone to answer, they are rude and act as though you are wasting their time. Will NOT be going here ever again!
