Walnut Grill Bethel Park

We've been coming to WG a long time. Food was excellent and the menu was full of choices! This visit and on a previous one were sad. They have gone down hill fast. $50 for 2 dinners of tacos! Our server was very nice due to thr lack of items we wanted on the menu but "they were out! " We went here due a gift card and felt bsd spending it on such awful food. The place was empty except for one other couple.

Food was fantastic, cocktails were ok. Not worth the price they had listed so we were switching to beer but the offerings were surprisingly limited for a place like this and 2 of the beers were out. It was busy and it seems like they were understaffed but even splitting the check was done incorrectly, no big deal but I feel like service could have been better. All in all, I go for food and this place did a great job - hoping they get the service situation figured out for next time! Highly recommend the pulled pork nachos.

I went to Walnut Grill with my family for dinner and had a very pleasant experience. I ordered a fried fish sandwich and fries, which was excellent. The fish is a sizable portion and delightfully crispy. The fries were fresh and nicely salty. We started with pretzel bites and roasted brussel sprouts, both of which were also crispy and delicious (notice a theme?).

The server was attentive and friendly, and treated the two little toddlers that we had with us kindly and compassionately. The prices are quite reasonable, as well. If you're deep in the South Hills and are looking for a tasty lunch or dinner, Walnut Grill is a great spot!

If I could give this place a zero star rating I would. I have dined in and also have had take out. I had a takeout and was missing half of my order. I called and asked for a manager and sat on the phone for 15 minutes with no response. Every time I dine in or order something is wrong. Management is terrible and doesn’t seem to care at all whatsoever. I will never be coming back and will never recommend anyone to this restaurant.

My husband and I picked this place for our his 40th Birthday dinner and unfortunately was very disappointed! My husband got the Walnut Encrusted Salmon and it was OK. I got the chicken brushetta dish and the chicken was very dry and the potatoes was very bland. I was very disappointed in the food. The best thing we had was the Pulled Pork Nachos!

Had my daughter’s bridal shower here and it was perfect! We utilized the semi private area to accommodate 30
guests and had plenty of room. The manager, Megan, was a pleasure to work with! Very accommodating, easy to work with, flexible, attentive, professional and just overall fantastic! We had a luncheon buffet and the food was hot and delicious! Everyone, and I mean everyone, couldn’t stop complimenting how good the food was and how beautiful the place was to hold the shower! I posted a few pics from when we were still setting up. I highly recommend Walnut Grill and would definitely have another event here! Please note they have a covered patio as well to accommodate larger parties. Thank you again Megan and staff! You made this day so enjoyable and memorable!

Our waitress Sarah was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! She made our experience GREAT! Best service ever, she definitely deserves recognition for being awesome, attentive and really sweet!

Went for a good meal on the special Tuesday steak night. First the steak came out under cooked and after it was sent back it came out well done and dry as can be. Steak was ordered medium rare. Will not recommend this place to anyone

This place could be amazing as the space and location are incredible. However, nothing can make up for how terrible the service is. Even when it isn’t crowded it’s hard to even get a drink at the bar.

Appitizer came out after the main dish came out. But my med rare was burnt to crisp, so their 2nd try was rare grizzle and fat. They tried to make it right, but obviously, the "chef" was on hiatus for my meal. The rest of party was satisfied. But I was the one paying.

We went to walnut grill for my mom's 99th birthday.
The food is always good but service is so bad that it doesn't matter. I got so tired of waiting for the waitress I had to go and get my own silverware and napkins and bus my own table.
Won't be back.

Had a lovely Saturday evening dinner - exceeded expectations actually! Crab stuffed shrimp appetizer was delicious as well as our entrees - prime rib dip & omg the mushroom chicken is to die for. The almond cream cake was very yummy too. Our server Jeff was amazing & took good care of us. Thanks for a great night out Walnut Grill - we'll be back soon!

We always enjoyed their breakfasts. Love the cups for coffee, too, not thick mugs like most places. Now they don’t serve breakfast at this location anymore. Lunches are good, too. I do agree with other reviews that they are understaffed but most places are.

PSA to anyone wanting breakfast- they don’t have it anymore. I pulled up expecting an all day breakfast, ordered a Bloody Mary, and was then told they didn’t offer it anymore. I was in too deep to leave as I already had a drink, but would have just ordered a beer if I knew. Now I’m crying about my lack of bacon into this large Bloody Mary.

To that point, the Bloody Mary is good but disappointing when you’re expecting it to be paired with an eggs Benedict.

First and last time there. The food was absolutely terrible that we had to send dishes back. The one food runner handed a scalding hot plate to my partner without any warning and almost dropped it on herself. The fries are the only thing good about the place so save yourself the time and money.

Walnut Grill had a really nice spread for Thanksgiving. We had the buffet there and everything was absolutely delicious. The turkey was tender as was the prime rib. Everything was hot, and it was a special treat having the shrimp and bisque soup there. We plan to be back next Thanksgiving.

Started with a cup of French Onion soup was like they grilled some onions then added broth to it, the onions were hard and the broth had a strange herb, would not suggest ordering this item. My main course was a 6oz filet with baked potato. The filet was cooked correctly and very tasty but the baked potato was under temp and hard the butter barely melted. I am a food service manager and according to serve safe rules a baked potato should be cooked to 210⁰ and held no lower than 180⁰, but I digress. All in all, the food was sub-par at best.
The service was very good the waitress was attentive and personable. I might give this restaurant one more chance if I am in the area but I would not make a special trip to visit this eatery.

I was there twice recently. Both times food was good, but the service and staff are terrible. The place has potential, but they just cant seem to get it together.

Love this place. Happy hour is awesome and so are the bartenders. Everything that we order was on point. Food was great. Will definitely be back.
