Waterford Hotel reviews
20Good prices for well cooked food with a lot of variety on the menu. Don't prefer the credit card charge, so bring cash to avoid it.
Not worth the price. Got the perch dinner, it was basically 1.5 pieces of fish for $16; the waitress was not friendly at all and the hostess (?) got smart with us twice! Not recommended AT ALL!
The food was typical diner/bar food but it was very good. The place was very clean and well kept. The staff were all very friendly. I will definitely be back.
Came in was seated immediately
Placed order food took over 45mins for a burger and a veggie wrap with no cheese
Veggie wrap came out with cheese all over it. Burger was supposed to be cooked medium needed a sawzall to cut through it. Both meals were served with 5-6 French frys per plate. Told server she just shrugged her shoulders.
Got the bill and wanted a 4% credit card fee, I told the serve I should be charging them a fee to serve this god awful food. She didn’t think I was funny.
Won’t be back.
Very good restaurant with great food. Miss Marsh of all kinds of people sharing different experiences in different likings towards food. Very kind servers staff respectful. Goodspeed on food served.
Service was slow and obviously strained. Server was not overly friendly or engaging and took quite a while to receive anything. Ordered a steak, quality of meat appeared good but was overcooked. Rest of meal and tables' meal was lackluster. Oh and they sneak in there the 4% credit card fee. I thought this was 2021 and we were past that.
I had a delicious grilled chicken sandwich. My wife ordered the chicken-pot-pie.which was more like a bowl of gravy with chicken pieces and a roll on top.not even close to a "pie".
Waitress was pleasant and offered to replace her meal but she declined.
Great clean old building with a inviting atmosphere.
Know I've reviewed them before, so here's an update. Still good. Instead of my usual ordered from their new lunch menu. 1/2 a sandwich & soup or salad. Very good pot roast sandwich, loved the horseradish sauce. They make their soups in house. Tried the broccoli & cheddar. One of the best I have ever had, creamy, thick & all around yummy. Will keep going back. I recommend you do also.
Delicious food, friendly service, reasonable prices. Credit card convenience fee is perfectly understandable and I'd much rather my money go to such a nice local restaurant instead of the credit company anyway. One of the best Philly steak sandwich I've had in a while.
Great place with friendly servers and great prices. I had their wings and they were crispy and delicious. Will be going back when I am near Waterford again.
Very nice staff and they give you nice size portions for the food. Good place to go hang on the patio and day drink as well!
I’m not sure what was worse. The food or the service.
The menu seems to have a misprint with everything listed so nothing came out as expected. When questioned about it, our waitress sent a supervisor who instead of stopping to hear what exactly happened she was snippy and told us not to treat her servers poorly. I was not going to pay for Walmart boxed potatoes and a burger that came from a frozen bulk box you buy on holiday weekends. I’ve never been treated so poorly in a restaurant before. Needless to say, it was my first and last time here!
We lost our reservation elsewhere and the Waterford hotel was awesome and got us in. Everything from the drinks, to the food, to the service was amazing. We had a larger group and they accommodated us wonderfully! Truly wish I could give more stars!
Great service, great food, good atmosphere, food came to table quick, even during peak times, highly recomend you try this place out
Busy for food but service was accommodating and nice. Side salad with fruit and cranberries might be a little much for some but a welcoming change from the past. Dinner menu has added changes as well. Seems like it might be going back to the old hotel 1990s
My cowboy t bone was very good. The rest of our group had fried fish. Everyone saiit was great. Our young waitress was on point with a packed dining room. Nice dinner with the parent folk n friends.
.
Had never been there before. It was nice inside, the food we ordered was very good and cooked correctly. The sides and add ons where nice portions. The prices are reasonable and the service was very good. We where quite surprised that they charged a 3.99% additional charge for not paying cash. Will definitely go back but with cash next time. That is why we gave 4 stars not 5.
Pickle chicken sandwich was decent not too strong on the pickle flavor but the chipotle mayo was good.
Steak salad was a good piece of steak done medium well and sliced on top with a very generous amount of dressing.
Beer was cold and the cherry limeade slushy was great.
Our first time dining here. The place is so charming. Great atmosphere. Our meal and service was excellent. I had the cod and my husband had spaghetti and meatballs. It was the best meal. We will be back!
Yummy! Had salmon and shrimp it was a little too saucy for me. No big deal. They moved tables next to the bar. Kind of a neat idea; keeps the Barkeep safer.
