Wayback Burgers, Millersville PA

Although the food is amazing and the inside looks great the customer service depending who u get seems spotty some seem like they really hate their job and some interact but minimum it's hard to hear some employees as they mumble or softly speak when asking about your own order

Very tasty. Shakes were also very good. Certainly a place to try for burgers or impossible burgers. We did not try their chicken options. Spicy tator tots were good too.

-My positive experience with Wayback started before the restaurant, with their mobile ordering app and its ease-of-access customizing and ordering food options.
-While my order was not ready for pick-up until about 10 minutes after the "estimated pick-up time" listed, I had choosen to place my order during peak hours on a Saturday evening, so some delay is understandable. I still rate 5 stars for service due to the fact that different staff repeatedly checked in with me to update me on the status of my order as I was waiting.
-The food! My cheeeesy burger was juicy, flavorful, and overall delicious. The bacon cheese fries were great as well. I ordered for take-out, and appreciated that each item in my order was securely and individually wrapped, and when I arrived at home 15 min later my food was still warm.
I will order from Wayback Burgers again!

Very comparable to five guys except wayback has way better prices. It was so good we ate there twice in 1 week even though I live 40 minutes away!

It's always a great experience when we go there. Great people, fast service and always a nice clean and friendly atmospere.

The burgers are delicious when we've been to here before. Unfortunately, they're currently operating on limited hours (like closing Friday at 4 PM), but it's not posted anywhere on the website. Didn't find out until we went there and found the doors locked with a sign of their adjusted hours.

Hours of operation posted on the window (and on Google or online) say their hours are 11am-9pm every day. I arrived at 4: 05pm today (Friday), the open sign was lit but the door was locked. All 5 employees refused to make eye contact with me as I pointed at their hours. So I walked next door and gave my business to a business nearby that honors what their hours are. When I walked back by the front door I found that they slapped a handwritten sign on the door saying they closed at 4pm due to being short staffed. 5 employees does not look short staffed to me. This is false advertising. If you do not have the employees available to honor your hours of operation the owner should be there making sure customers aren't locked out and ignored.

The food was very good and the atmosphere was nice, but the food was not to order. 2 out of the 4 things we ordered had things added, but otherwise the food was fresh and cooked perfectly.

This is the best local food spot hands down. Forget all the other spots just get a nice juicy burger with fries and you’ll be happier than ordering a pizza or anything else around!

The estimated wait time when ordering on the app is extremely inaccurate. Expect the wait double the time the app tells you.

Better alternative than shake shack for sure

We don’t recommend ordering online for pick up from Millersville PA location! Reason being is an order was placed for pick up, a confirmation was received for pick up, we live about 25-30mins away. 10 minutes before our pick up time a message was sent that our order was cancelled. The message wasn’t seen since we were driving, we walked in to pick the order up for the female employee working to be rude, told us the order wasn’t received, then proceeded to lie saying the online ordering was turned off since the night before. We could of called this employee out but the store was busy and this would have probably only escalated the situation more! I was hot under the collar, but chose to take the high road and leave! Now I understand the whole being busy but canceling an order is really not away to do business! Maybe make the online orders you have and if you/your staff are overwhelmed with orders shut the online ordering down to get caught up. Canceling one’s order then being rude and being dishonest is definitely not how you go about keeping business! We reached out to have our concern addressed but here we are a week later and still haven’t heard back. An apology goes a long way WAYBACK! Customer service is something that needs to be worked on! Unsatisfied customers that won’t return.

Waited 40 min for our food with 20 of it our hamburgers under a lamp. Unfortunately while watching our hamburgers stay warm the cashier started to help but should not have been handling food. Her hair was not pulled back and hanging over food, also with gloves on after wrapping hamburgers she would wipe her hands on the back side of her pants, never changing her gloves when grabbing more of the hamburgers to wrap, they should be very happy I wasn't an inspector. At 40 min went up to ask how much longer for our food and the wonderfull fry guy who was getting everything wrong the whole time we watched and waited, never put our fries, onion rings, or cheese curds in. And with that they told me 2 min. There's no way we were waiting any longer, especially knowing how long our burgers were waiting so we asked for our money back. It seems you get better service if you order it threw the apps then in person had been going there since they opened in Millersville, won't go back very dissapointed

I think this place has the best cheese steak in the area great food and very reasonable prices

Food was good, but the fries were dry. The store was a bit dirty and dark. Besides that, it is not a bad place to eat. It's definitely more affordable than competing restaurants
