Very clean and we stocked store the staff is so friendly and knowledgeable would go there again

I usually stop here for most of my home hardware purchases. They have a good selection of things you would generally need. The pricing is competitive with the larger stores. Personally I'd rather pay an extra 15 cents at ACE and be in and out in 5 minutes compared to roaming around at Home Depot wasting time for a small savings.

I was installing a new toilet and bought a set of bolts from Weaver's. After setting the toilet on the wax ring, I couldn't turn the nuts on the bolts. I pulled the toilet up put the bolts in a vice. There is no way the nuts supplied with the bolts would turn. Those nuts worked on the new bolts that I had to run out and get at Lowes (closer for me). I also had to buy another wax ring. This fiasco cost me at least 2 hours of time. I returned the bolts to Weaver's this morning. When I explained the problem and suggested that they check the rest of the bolts in stock, I got no response like, "Wow, thanks for telling us, we'll pull them and check". I guess maybe if I were a man, I would have been believed? I suggested that at a minimum I be compensated for a wax ring. The answer was, "you didn't buy it here. No. " Isaid, "I have to eat the cost of the 2nd wax ring? " Incredible! So my loss of time for this bad product is at least 3 hours. At $25 a hour - that's a $75 loss for me. There was no appreciation of alerting them of the problem. I should have thrown those bolts in the trash and let Weavers have more screwed customers.

Update 10/4/23 - Mr Rose contacted me this morning. The problem with the bolts was used for training for the staff. It was verified that the bolts I returned were defective and the in store stock of the toilet bolts were checked. A gift card is being mailed to me as compensation. Kudos to Weavers for responding correctly and making things right. BTW - I gave the review 3 stars because I have had many good experiences at Weavers Hardware Stores, the larger Fleetwood store is my go to place to get hard to find hardware. If they don't have it, no one does.

Always has the basics, just not the variety of a Lowes or Home Depot, as you would expect from the size. Customer service was excellent.

I like Ace Hardware near me but its a quarter of a mile down the road from where I usually shop. Every time I go to buy something there, I end up having to order it and wait for the call that it's in, that never comes. Twice this has happened. Every time I go to or have gone to Tractor Supply to get what I needed right then, they always had it, I never had to order what I wanted and wait for a call that doesn't come.
This is the big difference for me. Why would I go where they never have what I want. Plus I bought gummies there once and they were all melted. I told the clerk but he made no attempt to offer me a new bag.

Went there to get a 20 lb propane tank filled. Cost me almost $40 or I could have went to Agway would have only cost me $16.99 to fill never again

Hardware store is a bit more expensive then let's say your big box stores like Lowe's but you also can get an employee that is somewhat knowledgeable about what they are selling or find answers to questions you may have as far as fixing things in your home and that nature. Stores like Lowe's I never seem to find anyone who knows anything it seems.so the disadvantage is price the advantage is service.

What a wonderful store. Filled with all of your needs. From house supplies. Paint, cleaning solutions to border paper. Gazebo covers, multiple styles of grills. Propane and pellet to the smokers and the egg. Lawn and garden supplies. Christmas lights and decorations. Snacks at the counter. Propane heaters 6ft.tall and table height. Pellets. Everything you need is here. Pleasant employees. Recommend this store.

Staff is friendly and helpful. Prices are competitive. The store is neat and clean and easily accessible. We have shopped here a few times this month and are sure to be back for more.
