Wegmans, Scranton PA

My second favorite grocery store. Only second to Trader Joe’s. In particular, though, this Wegmans location is always on top of everything! I love this location.

Can be crowded, rude customers at times and expensive but they have some specialty and luxury items that cannot be found elsewhere

Bought precooked sides etc since I had to work and no one was the wiser.little expensive but in this you certainly get what u pay for.ty

I was disappointed couldn't find feta cheese in blocks only crumble but my cashier was very sweet and the store is amazing

Very unfair to the employees lies about caring when they truly do not care …. My advice is NEVER APPLY THERE …. It is a horrible environment the managers or what ever they are always sit around talking when employees need help and they are NOT flexible when needed to be flexible…

Excellent quality, huge selection. I love shopping here. The butcher shop people are super helpful, the deli is better than some buffet restaurants, and the bakery makes cakes as good as the other best-in-area bakery. I love the selection of loose tea! You pay a bit of a premium for all this, but you get your money's worth.

I called the pharmacy Saturday night and asked if I could get a pneumonia shot and was told to come Sunday. When I got there a big lady with dark hair told me I couldn't get it. I really appreciate being lied to. I went to another pharmacy and they gave me one no problem. They really shouldn't be in the pharmacy business.

A young lady working register name Mikayla did an amazing job, she was super quick at doing her job and very sweet. She sets a good example of how to be an employee you can trust and gets the job done. Thank you

Let me preface this review in saying - I am a Wegmans novice & I get lost easily. However, the expansive nature of the store is really what gives Wegmans a leg up in most cases. The sheer variety of brands and items is what makes it a draw for so many. We are more of an 'Aldi' family, but the Wegmans brand foods are excellent in quality and flavor.

I had the Thanksgiving turkey individual meals from the 2go. The process was easy online, at the store, there was a minimal wait, the staff were very friendly and helpful. The food was very good!

I love going to Wegmans when we're in PA. They have everything you could possible need and everything is so fresh. This is one of the cleanest stores I've ever been in and love that you can get lunch there as well. The below is why my rating changed to 2 stars. The picture says it all

********Wanted to edit this post as now I live here and just bought a package of chicken. Not only were there pieces that are definitely not breasts they are also a very weird color. I will never buy chicken there again. I bought the same exact type of chicken at shoprite and it not only didn't have weird pieces it all was the same nice normal color.

This store has items you can't find anywhere else! Great selection of British foods, as well as foods from other countries!

Your bakery has the BEST cheesecake (and other baked goods!) in this area, but I have to say you guys go a bit overboard with the large wasteful plastic containers. SURELY you can do better than that!?

It's Wegmans. Check the dates on packaged foods and cheese and you are good to go! Don't forget to squeeze your fruits and vegetables!

Although I am able to find amazing things here, im really finding the prices are becoming more inflated and not even comparable prices vs comparable products. The difference in price makes me start to hesitate and wonder how inflated the "unique" items are.

Great place to buy healthy food, prices are very reasonable, and the employees are always nice. They also have a big selection of wine.

Traveled an HR for the crab fest. Purchased a bushel of crabs. Drove home and they were not good. Mushy/ overcooked. Had to drive all the way back for a refund. Seafood Manager did not seem pleased. Well, I wasn't either. Spent my whole day off driving 4 plus hrs. Wasted time, money, and gas

If you’re in the area and are looking for a supermarket that just feels a little nicer than the rest, look no further. Wegmans is clean, big, inviting and - according to a Californian - as close to a Trader Joe’s as you can get without actually being one.

Lots of fresh produce, meats and cheeses paired with a delicious selection of premade lunches and dinners, and your usual fair of grocery goods. It’s a bit kore expensive than other big stores in the area, but the quality and cleanliness is worth it.

One of the few places you can get a great selection of alcohol while shopping, too.

I love Wegmans! It may not be the least expensive store in my area, I just love the things I can find there that I can't find anywhere else. The selection of organic produce is amazing and food's for specific diets is amazing.
