Grocery Store Wegmans reviews
18Wegmans is a good store with many ideal items and pricing that is comparable in some areas, BUT not happy over the past year with "store brand Wegmans products" that seem to be FLOODING the store instead of name brand items. Most other area stores, Acme, Giant, Redner's etc still carry name brands that I prefer more than only being offered the store brands, and I don't really see much difference in cost. Sorry, just my own opinion and unfortunately I will use area store over Wegmans. Apparently, the store is aware of this and says "it's a corporate move". Sad, should listen more to the customers of what they want.
Good selection of produce and meats.slightly pricier. Good selection of wines and beer and most items. Great gluten free section. Less selection on household items and general canned goods.
People are insane shoppers here. You have to keep your head on a swival.
Customer service is off the charts rude. Especially front end. Manager named Dallas needs a class or two in how to treat customers. Even instacart shoppers.
My sister ordered a Wegmans Thanksgiving meal. The store was immaculate and the workers were organized, efficient and friendly. The pickup was easy. The store was crowded but it's huge so it was not a problem with all of the holiday shoppers. Highly reco.mend!
I drive 45 min at least twice a month to shop at Wegmans. It's seriously the best grocery store. PLEASE come to Berks County.
Love the store, dislike the shoppers- this place gets packed on weekends and shoppers are rude, entitled
Every time we visit PA it's a must to come here. We always find something that we can't get at home.
I really miss the food bar; due to covid according to staff. Still love what food they offer for takeout. The quality is awesome. Wish they still had beer at the checkout near the dining area. You have to go to the middle of the store now to get it so I just don't buy it anymore when dining there. Hope the TV and fireplace work soon! Miss the days of the grand food bar and eating near the fireplace. Great store!
BEST supermarket chain in the whole US that l have ever encountered. Fully competitive with regular supermarkets on stock and prices. THEN add the superior and pricier cheeses, bakery items, fish and meat, flowers offerings, way ABOVE and you have it all. Cafés are good too.
Wegmans is a great grocery store. I always enjoy shopping here. It's huge, clean, well-stocked, produce fresh, fresh and great variety of cuts of meat, and literally you can find almost anything your heart desires in this store. Their specialty sections are great, too, especially the bakery and deli.
I have shopped in different Wegmans in different states. They all seem to have the same extensive array of products. Prices may be a bit higher than some discount grocery stores, but for the most part they are comparable to any other grocery stores. If you choose to purchase their store-brand items, you can save some money.
They used to operate café pre-COVID-19 time, but it's on hold now. I'd imagine with the current loosening of restrictions, they will be back relatively soon.
Great shopping experience.
We ordered a sub sandwich platter from the catering department and it was really good. Very easy to order, even easier to pick up. It also came with a variety of toppings for the sandwiches. Of course, we brought home ready-made food for dinner as well. Can't go wrong with Wegman's.
It's a grocery store. People tend to act like it's a modern cathedral of food and coolness and they are fanatical about it. Whatever. It's a very nice grocery store, it's huge, it has a food court, and the prepared foods from pizza to cake is generally quite good. The grocery selection is pretty good, too, although since I don't shop there much, I don't find the layout at all intuitive, and I always end up wandering the store for way too long trying to find a couple basic items. Easy to get lost in there. On the bright side, at least you wouldn't have to worry about starving.
Great selection and good prices! I always assumed they were on the expensive side but actually found them to be pretty reasonable.
I love Wegman's, though they are very pricey. Every now and then my daughter and I visit to get baked goods, desserts, cheese, olives and some frozen and packaged snacks. Shopping here weekly is cost prohibitive, at least to my mind, but it is an awesome store with a great selection!
I have been a fan of the store for so many years.
Disappointed with my last transaction on 09/30/2021.
I hold wegmans really high when it comes to quality and food safety. However;
Bought a package of “Gabila Pot Knish” mashed potatoes with other things for my breakfast.
I went home to find out that It was moldy and rotten.
See pictures.
I was really upset. It was disgusting.
I live far from the store so I called asking for a refund over the phone to save the gas and time.
No, they refused asked to come down with receipt to get a refund.
As wegmans, I would fix it in the most convenience for the customer.
Very disappointing and won’t go through the hassle to come to Collegeville to shop at “mighty” wegmans any more.
My wife Lisa and I ordered our groceries on line and I picked them up. The service was great and fast I didn't have to wait once I checked in less than a minute. The woman that came out with our groceries was very nice and a big help with loading my car. I will without a doubt use Wegmans again and tell family and friends to go there also.
Loved shopping here! Huge! But we found things we needed. Even grabbed a lunch! Terrific place!
Collegeville store is not the same. Very tight spacing in produce and with COVID they need to do better. Also the produce is terrible! Why are you selling this? Tomatoes are refrigerated and cold when you buy them! What happened to white corn on the cob? Smaller portions with higher pricing. We see what is going on. Always out of something in the salad/greens wall. Where are the pre-made organic salads? I wish all departments would merger and not separate organic instead of everything scattered around the store. Bakery prices are getting crazy! Go to Whole Foods and look at the competition. Beautiful desserts for less
