Wegmans, Lancaster PA

There is always something good to eat here. Their produce is almost always in tip top shape and very close to ripe. Sushi bar, hot foods, deli, bakery. They've got it all and they're always well stocked.

Its big! Like.really big, kind of overwhelmingly big. So long as you know where to find what you need its good and clean and well stocked.

The store layout in the produce/deli/bakery half of the store is difficult to navigate and is not easy to find the typical bulk grocery items one might be shopping for in these departments. These items are available among numerous "luxury/gourmet" varieties nonetheless. This location does support the Wegmans mobile app that allows you to scan and bag your own groceries as you shop, and then pay at a self checkout register rather quickly. A final thought that Wegmans has done well is the shopping carts used. As someone who will typically fill a large shopping cart, theirs have plenty of room and actually fit a number of fabric & cold bags nicely in addition to the bottom rack sized perfect for 2 liters and an extra bar to split the front from back as well as keep your large items from falling off the bottom of the cart. A little odd to rave about a shopping cart but when you're customers shop with carts it does have that much of an impact.

I have been at this store about once a week since they opened. Prices are fair across the board. With other stores changing prices all the time, Wegmans is fair and consistent. I can walk out of Giant with three bags and spend $100. Yesterday, I pushed two carts full out of the store for less than $200. Stick with the store brand (better and cleaner ingredients most of the time anyway) and avoid the types of non food items best purchased at a department store and you'll save money.

Absolutely love Wegmans. All and your stores. Please open some stores in the Pittsburgh area. You would put other stores to shame

Its such a good place to get fresh food. And they have many options for pre-made food and everything I have ate so far has been delicious! Many fruits and veggies! There is many options but you can except to sped 100 and walk out with only 2 or 3 bags. Some things are higher priced here then other places. But its like anything else in life if you want the best you got to pay higher price for all the good stuff.

You have to buy your steaks from Wegmans all steaks shown on my Facebook page are from here my favorite I but three week easy!

My daughter and I went to this Lancaster Wegmans to get some food for a dinner party she was planning for her friends. She's a great girl so I was helping her out by going with her. That's what dad's do.just sayin'. Anyway, I thought prices at Wegmans would be a lot higher but I didn't find them to be way out of line from prices at other area stores. I was amazed by their fresh products and a lot of different Ready-to-Eat meals but I didn't feel like they had a very big selection of regular products like canned goods, chips, cookies, frozen foods, etc.the staples that I would expect from any grocery store. That said, we found what we were looking for and were not disappointed. I noticed that they have a lot of gluten free and specialty products of that sort, a large restaurant area that goes along with their buffet section of hot foods, and a sizable wine and beer section. Some of my friends have said that they will shop nowhere else but Wegmans but I'm not that overwhelmed by how great it is.

So glad to find this clean, large Wegmans near me. They had several things I needed for Thanksgiving that I couldn't find anywhere else.

11/19/21. Visiting for McCaskey 76 class reunion. Wanted a chocolate cake for the holidays, got pork chops, bread, cooked shrimp and my chocolate cake, all traveling back to NY. $70.

Great store, one employee was not so great, ask her if she could please sit my small bag of groceries on a shelf right behind her so I could quickly use the restroom, she said not allowed, put in cart and sit outside the restroom it will be safe, Yea right, sit my paid groceries in cart and walk away, but another employee took my bag and held it for me to use the restroom. Maybe she should teach the others to be more helpful.

I come here from time to time to pick up a few things. They have quite a wide variety of just about anything you can think of. The produce section is my favorite. It's a very pleasant experience shopping here. The decor is very nice. You can find some good prices, however the prepared foods are priced a bit high. I have never purchased any prepared foods. I would much rather go to a restaurant if I'm going to pay those kind of prices.

Big! Healthy! Very modern! Bunch of restaurants inside that are delicious! You should give this a try, having a little of everything!

Really like this store. They have so much to offer, so much to look at that I can't even list everything. You have to stop and check this store out yourself. I had to stop inside the store and look around first because I didn't know where to go first. Some things are really priced reasonable but other things are a little pricey but definitely worth stopping at

Wegmans will always be my go-to grocery store! The store is always very clean& the employees are kind and helpful. I'm vegan and I'm very impressed by their selection of vegan foods and snacks. Not only that, but I love seeing local businesses represented as well, with everything from coffee to bath products.
If you've never gotten something from their bakery or from the coffee counter, you're missing out!

Wegmans is the absolute best grocery store with the best beer garden too. Hubby and I love stopping by after work every night to pick up fresh ingredients for dinner and beer! The environment is so welcoming and the staff could not be more kind. Thank you Wegmans!
