Weis Markets, York PA

My boyfriend and I like to come here for some of the vegan food we need. They always have a good selection of different plant based deli slices and for a reasonable price. It is also one of the only places I can still find just egg which we love. Staff is friendly.

The seafood department is inefficient and slow. Ordered shrimp and came back to pick it up 20 minutes after I ordered and it was still sitting beside the steamer.

Grocery shopping isn't really an experience. Store had the items I wanted, I put them in my cart, and went to a register. The woman, Deb, scanned my items and bagged them. Then I paid for my items and left.
Experience over.
I'd do it again, and probably will over the weekend, I highly recommend grocery shopping.

A worker that goes by the name (couldn't get his name he was hiding his name tag) the incident took place at 7: 29 July 9th on of stepped rite in front of me without saying excuse me as I were standing in front of the hot sauce section their was bairly and room between me qnd the shelf. No excuse me or nothing. I even said excuse me and he looked back at me and continued doung what it was he was doing which was restocking the shelves where are peoples manners.

I have used Shipt for delivery for months with no problem. Two weeks before Easter suddenly there were no deliveries available for two weeks. No curbside either even though the store managers would tell you it was available.

Took literally half an our for the cashier to ring us up. Wasn't busy, she was just extremely slow. Not a wide variety of products either.

I usually just go to the meat market in the store and the personal behind the encounter is great!

I stopped by last night and picked up a couple of bone-in ribeyes for dinner. Awesome! Steamed shrimp too. Delicious!

I'm not sure which is worse, constantly being overcharged, the moldy bread they sell me, or the rude employees. This place used to be great, but is slowly going down hill. I'm about done.

Spoke on phone with Manager after the 3rd time in the past 3 weeks that that I have walked out of the store "agitated" by the drop in customer service. Royal Farms has beer and wine. Giant is about the same distance from my house. 11 yrs I have shopped at Weis but I am moving on!

4 star simply bc I hate that I can't bag my larger purchases myself any more (self scan is for small orders, not a cart load full). And some of the cashiers can NOT bag items well. Ask questions and get some eye rolls here and there.

The WEIS Beer Garden is the best in area! They got it all! And they have a lot of cold singles and many more singles on the shelves

So close to were im living it is my go to store for groceries, household supplies, n fresh flowers n plants, books, magazines, greeting cards, evn my brand of cigarette's. U can buy stamps, an money orders at a low fee. Very friendly staff, very courteous, an helpful if u find urself in need. An they accept coupons, an ebt. I enjoy shoppn there, many differnt varieties, of differnt culture foods as they call it international food isle.

Shelves poorly stocked or they have discontinued yet another favorite food. Or out of stock. Disappointed.

We usually shop at our Weis in East York but we we're in the West end and ran into to your Weis for a few things. You have a great store. I wish our Market street store was this big. You have such a big selection of everything.

I only go to Weis when I have no other choice, the employees are always miserable and if not rude, they barely acknowledge you at all. The selection is ok, and only had one or two instances where I had to return food. The bakery makes some pretty awesome food, we made special trips for blueberry muffins from them.

I normally don't go to wise but this particular one off of Roosevelt Avenue has spices that are very different from what I'm used to seeing I love their International aisle.

This is one of my home grocery stores. It's always clean, the staff is friendly, and the deals are good, not to mention you get gas points for your purchases whichever are redeemable at the Sheetz nearby.
