WellSpan Family Medicine - Crossroads

I have had a cough for 4 months and severe wheezing in my chest. I went to urgent care three times before to met a doctor Brooke E Clark. This was the most terrible reception. The doctor did not take my complaints seriously and said that it was a seasonal illness. Although I started coughing and feeling unwell on September 5th. When I went into my account to read their notes about my appointment, it said that she did not hear any wheezing. Although you can hear them if you just stand next to me. I still feel very bad, suffering from a choking cough, mucus and wheezing. Dr Brooke E Clark is a disgrace. Because people go to the hospital for help, and the inattention and indifference of people like Dr. Brooke E Clark only disgrace this noble profession. Stay away from this doctor.

All I can say out of all my doctors Doctor cotes is my favorite and I actually he's my family doctor and WellSpan family medicine to me is the best and if I could I did WellSpan family medicine a million stars.

The 5 stars are for Dr. Santizo and her staff. They really care. The only other doctor I've had like Dr. Santizo was Dr. Ahmad who is no longer at the practice. If you're looking for a doctor that really listens, answers your question and doesn't just push you out the door, try Dr. Santizo. She and her whole team are great. They look at long-term care and take a holistic approach rather than just pushing scripts.

Office staff and nurses are wonderful. Polite and caring. Unfortunately they get the brunt of the anger and frustrations people feel after seeing their doctors because they are the exact opposite. I have always apologized to the staff for venting my frustration with the doctors. Because I know it’s not their fault. But apparently if your tone is above a normal conversation level that’s considered rude and unacceptable. The doctors are horrible. Dr. Coates is the bottom of the barrel. Do NOT trust this man! He tells you he’ll do one thing but does the opposite without telling you and explaining why. Never follows up. Gives short vague answers to important questions and is extremely rude, insensitive, arrogant and offensive when he finally gets around to answering you. He has a very fragile ego. Not a single one should be practicing medicine. They spend most of the time dictating to the computer what you say and never accurately because they don’t listen to you. They order tests and never follow up. They don’t care about you as a person and are completely untrustworthy. God forbid you question them! You get kicked out of the practice! It’s no wonder there are never any other patients in the waiting area. They probably all died or found better care elsewhere. Coates is the poster boy for what doctors should not be. Dr. Ahmad was the poster person for what their doctors all SHOULD be. She was the best they ever had there. This practice should be investigated for not following the law on patients rights. You don’t have any rights, in their eyes, if you go to this group. Yesterday I called about a retest on a test Coates originally ordered. This morning I got a message on the portal stating dr Coates refused to provide care and I should check with a new doctor somewhere else. I wasn’t asking for his care. Simply a retest to confirm possible false results on a test he originally ordered, which is MY right. I don’t think that’s legal to refuse a person health services. Unethical and unnecessary. Horrible practice.

I am self pay with no insurance. Made an appointment for some hearing loss and flying out in 2 days. Was told it was earwax build-up and given a prescription and told if I wanted my ear flushed to make another appointment. Come to find out the prescription is simply over the counter.

The wonderful $200 spent for not getting my ear flushed as well as an over the counter med.
