People are rude. I haven't seen 1 person smile in this whole place. Been here for 1hour 30 min. Not I smile.

It was the Saturday before Christmas, but I was seen very quickly and the PA who saw me was the nicest person!

Although not required, I registered online, and the whole process went smoothly. Jocelyn checked me in promptly and professionally. Jeremy, a super nice gentleman checked my vitals, and I was seen and cared for by Vanessa. No complaints!

I would give this urgent care 0 stars, but you can’t do that. I walked in there was no one around the nurses were all sitting in a room hanging out. One hesitantly left the room to help me and informed me since I hadn’t made an appointment online it would be at least 2 hours until they could see me. Im dizzy I have a fever I can’t swallow and they could have cared less. There was not a single patient waiting and as I said before the staff was all sitting around on chairs in one of the patient rooms. This is absurd, I will never go back and I will post this review anywhere I can. Customer service goes a long way and maybe the staff here needs a refresher!

Vanessa Pabon is extremely rude and is not fit to be helping people seeking medical attention.

Vanessa Pabon approached me and said about how I had a visit at a local family doctor down the road shortly. I responded by telling her I attempted to call them and cancel, as I was having chest pains didn’t expect a family doctor to be able to give an EKG or chest x rays if needed. I also explained that I was on hold for almost two hours without talking to a single human trying to cancel. She then looks at me disgusted and snarls “if it’s that urgent you should go to the ER. ” I told her this has been going on for 6-9 months so I didn’t feel it was an ER situation and that last time I went for this problem they didn’t even preform an EKG on me. She then rolls her eyes and shakes her head at me as she walks away.

Seems like she just wanted to get people out of urgent care instead of actually helping people.

This was the very best experience I had at Wellspan PERIOD! Gina. R (P/A) was super professional, Patient, understanding and explaining everything. And she treated me with kindness, empathy, and just listened. My past experiences with Wellspan made me extremely hesitant to return. Gina was phenomenal! Thanks Gina being kind, kindness goes a long way! You’re amazing! Thanks for all you do! Today my experience (front desk and nurse) was also outstanding, thanks ladies!

I walked into this Urgent care today only to be told. I must make an appointment online! It would be an hour and half wait.
Omg since when is any urgent care need an appointment.
Not a happy patient.

Aside from the wait times occasionally this is really a good place. I felt like I was listened to by the dr I saw & was provided good treatment.

Brought my sick son into urgent care Ephrata (completely empty) at 730 with a posted closing time of 8pm. He is sensory processing disorder and being tested for autism so it was a huge drawn out ordeal to get him to transition to the drs office. The front desk was in the process of “closing up shop” and while unmasked sighed at my wife upon arrival. She informed us they would not be seeing any more patients due to the provider doing charting from the day. After my interjecting on their posted hours the dr came out and proceeded to inform me that she was not charting but her paperwork was still important however they were down a provider today and she was simply not seeing anyone else. She told me it didn’t matter if she saw my son tonight because any tests wouldn’t be read until the morning and the pharmacies are closed without concern for the fact if a prescription is needed I would be able to pick it up first thing instead of waiting to schedule with PCP. Completely unprofessional and borderline unethical behavior exhibited by this dr and her two staff members present. I hope their locking up early was worth not performing their job duties that I am sure they are compensated very well for.

Update- received a very bureaucratic call informing me that they have had multiple doctors leave Wellspan for better working conditions and at this point the doctors can determine when they are done seeing patients despite posted hours. In the future they will need to a better job of communicating that you may not be seen and they won’t honor walk ins with the alternative being they just close facilities. Pretty much defeats the purpose of an urgent care center,

I already call and complained. But Vanessa the pa-c from urgent care needs to lean better bedside manner. Went in there for hip pain and she automatically thinks you want opioids like noooo I want answers all she did was say call orthopedics and have me a tordol shot which was very nice but unhelpful. And the best part is she wrote that I had attitude yes yes I did cause you walked in the room with a discussing look and attitude. I treat others how I’m treated. Never again will I step another foot in this location. To top it off I’m a self pay due to insurance change and not only did I have to pay for this urgent care visit I had to go to orthopedic urgent care since which could of been avoided if i was told when I called that they cannot do anything and orthopedics would be able to help better.

This urgent care center is great when you aren't feeling well, or when you have a minor injury.
