E ANNA Shelter may take a long time to process any request if it adoption or surrendering a pet …. But they do the best the can. When my husband got diagnosed with cancer and my two sisters my mother and my only child all died within a two month period… Ruth graciously took both my horses…. One nobody even wanted he was a broken down rescue…… anyway She showed up
with a trailer…. We loaded both a draft horse and and the deaf and foundered fella up The Shelter really came to my aid in a serious time of need.and Ruth and her staff have been absolutely great! Now mind you that my horses were in great shape just in need of serious human time which I could not provide because of my work hours and my husband needed health insurance for a bone marrow transplant. The shelter may have strict requirements, but if you are surrendering… you should find comfort in knowing that your pets are going to a home that will provide love…, and more. I personally would like to do more because such a huge responsibility was taken off my shoulders when my husband needed me most. I am forever indebted to the Shelter for their kindness. And you too would have a sour taste in your mouth if you worked everyday … day in & day out.just seeing the abuse and neglect and just hopelessness that these animals have in their eyes when they get to they shelter. If you’re disappointed…. Volunteer for a day…. Learn some empathy and show compassion…. They give the ANNA Shelter an educated review. But that is just me!
