West Chester Diner

They deliver hot food in boxes that have holes in them. Consistently cold upon arrival (we live less than 2 miles away from the restaurant), and their door dash prices are astronomical and nonsensical. For example, a grilled egg and cheese is 7.75, but a grilled cheese is 8.50. A grilled egg and cheese with tortilla chips is 18.50. The management clearly doesn't care.

Not good. Food was greasy and had a strange taste. Diner is dirty and rundown. Waitress, while very nice, seemed high on meth.

I’ve been here multiple times over the past three years. I used to love coming here but when I visited today I had horrible service. Our server did not come to the table until ten minutes had passed and they never even introduced themself. She did not write down our order and ended up messing up part of the order. We waited way longer than normal for our food and I could tell it had been sitting in the window for a little. The food was lukewarm. We then waited an additional twenty minutes just to get the check. Our server had no customer service or time management skills. She did not come to check on us. She seemed out of it and was very questionable. We had a party of four but still had 20% gratuity added. I’ve never had that added at this restaurant especially since our party was small. Very disappointed

Staff was mediocre, facility needs basic cleaning improvements mirrors smeared, also a lingering smell of mop water. We ordered a country omelet (eggs over cooked vegetables undercooked) and scrapple (under cooked), breakfast special (everything undercooked). I have never been here before and completely unsatisfied with the meal, though the waitress did addresses the issues with the host this was a bad experience I would not recommend or revisit.

Everything that can possibly go wrong did!

It cost me $140.00 for No manager on duty, spoiled turkey, dead fly in a soda.dirty bathrooms which says alot about a restaurant!

We did not eat anything but onion rings and mozzarella sticks, and we left to eat wawa instead.

Also the waitress went over 2 infants heads with 3 hot french onion soups.

For the entirety of my 45+ years of professional life, as well as in my leisure time, a diner has always been a place to meet clients or friends. I have had many wonderful memories over meals in diners—or simply over coffee. I have closed deals over a cup of delicious diner coffee. So I simply assumed that meeting a client over coffee at 10AM between breakfast and lunch, would be like any other hundreds of such meetings I’ve had in diners. But not at this diner. The waitress very sternly informed us that “you can’t just have coffee. You must also order food. ” I was shocked! I will NEVER set foot in this diner again! Shameful!

Service was terrible the waitress was the only one seating people working the register and more, then there was someone not a worker but appeared homeless busing tables they didn't have baked potatoes, apple sauce food took forever to come out over one hour and this all was at dinner time. This place once was great when they had the salad bar and actual staff what a shame do go there as we will never return!

The waitress was the best part of this place.we had high hopes because we love diners but this place just was run down and the food wasn’t good at all.sad but true.

Honestly, this place needs some help between the food, cleaning the restrooms and service is horrible. Management should really look up ways to improve his business

I ordered the eggs Benedict and a short stack of pancakes. The hollandaise sauce had no flavor and the English muffin tasted untasted. The "home fries" which were actually hash were undercooked and unseasoned. The pancakes may have been the worst I've ever had. Even drowned in butter syrup they tasted like warmed up bread. My partner got the Greek omelet which was missing the feta cheese and he had the same complaint about the home fries. Great service, it was moderately busy in there, but they could use some improvements to their recipes and cooking.

After watching the young Hostess guy speak down to somebody picking up a delivery I wouldn't go back there. He is a horrible representation of the diner speaking to a young woman the way he did.

Do not recommend! I am a younger aged girl who went in late night with another friend, vibes were WEIRD. Never coming back again, because genuinely I am terrified

I ate here for the first time to celebrate my birthday. Staff were very nice however the food for me was terrible. I felt quite nauseous afterwards. The place also does not look the cleanest. My two family members however enjoyed their meals. For me though I will not be coming back.

This place went down the toilet.
My family comes here every year because my grandparents are very elderly and they like it here. They are very basic and simple people. We lost my grandfather in 2020 to Covid and my grandmother likes it because it’s close and it’s the only place open.

The server we have almost every year acts so annoyed that we are here despite my many attempts of being overly polite. The turkey this year came out cold.

They charged us 2.25 for hot water. Are you serious?

I really hate this place. These people act like it is such a burden that we are here and always have. I’ve really had enough of this place. My grandmother may not be with us next year and they really just make this an awful experience.

It’s thanksgiving. We always tip well and we don’t ever need a lot. You should really evaluate your wait staff and whether you should continue to be open on holidays if your going to be so awful.

The only person nice here is the hostess.

Decent Sunday breakfast bar for $12. No eggs benediction it. Need to order bacon from waitress. Food is ok.not great. Decent value I guess but at $18 out the door feels a little expensive for what it is.others seem to love it and clearly they have their regular crowd going on.
