West Chester Veterinary Medical Center reviews
9Was two minutes late they charge me $85 for one teo my dog hurt her leg and they would not come into the room and look at her unless I gave her sedative and they said it it was only for when she had her toenails done. My dog is the sweetest dog you could ever imagine. She wouldn’t hurt a fly and the new doctor would come in and see my dog what kind of a doctor a real doctor would not look at an animal to see and make sure it was OK i’ve been coming here for 20 years, and never had such a disgusting professionalism. Ever!
My 5 pound Maltese puppy was ill and dehydrated from bloody diarrhea. I rushed him into the urgent center and Dr Rowe treated my Enzo with great care and turned his emergency situation quickly.
Amazing Vet! Took the time to explain conditions and treatments. I was able to make informed decisions on treatment. The doctor was very detailed and took great notes to monitor the health of my pet.
We had Dr. Rowe, he was great. Up front and honest. Respectfully gave his opinion on the situation with my dog and was kind and patient. The only downside is would've liked to see the tech smile and/or have a better bedside manner. She seemed cold and uncaring. But everything else was fine. Appreciated to know the costs b4 anything was done.
We've been taking our pets there for years.they have supported us through the best of days with our furry buddies to the most difficult of times and decisions. Regardless of which vet and assistant helps us, the service and the care were stellar!
I had been here during Covid with one of my cats for an emergency visit (I live in PA but have gone to NJ vet for years) and could not believe how caring and wonderful they were to my cat and me. Fast forward a few weeks ago and another emergency visit with my other cat with the exact same experience - super kind staff and doctor. I will now be switching vets permanently. Why not a 5 you ask? It is a bit pricey but I was there for ER visits both times.
I had an emergency with my elderly dog on a Sunday. They took us in immediately when we arrived and gave my dog excellent care. I highly recommend this veterinary practice.
I give extra stars for the vets. Didn’t have any problems with any vets here and they are all very professional and nice. But this place is definitely charging you arms and legs as other reviewers said. If you have pet insurance and have sick/accident visit which is usually covered by the insurance, it worth the visit for the care from the vets. Otherwise, I would now avoid any other visits or purchases here. Any simplest visit will easily cost you hundreds of dollars now. I have spent well more than $4000 dollars here for in the past few years just for regular visits and not so seriously sick visits. If you care about your hard earned money, try other places.
I’ve used the WC Vet for 30 years. They’ve been great. Dr. Opielski is a terrific vet, that I highly recommend. She is thorough and takes into account the entire health of the dog as she considers their care. She has given great advice. I also appreciate having access to the urgent care facility. It provides continuity of care in an emergency. I consider that valuable!
