Dr. Leonard and the entire staff are so very kind. They always take time to answer all your questions and concerns. Their facility is very clean and their service is excellent!

The technicians at West Side are genuinely excellent. I always feel comfortable reaching out with questions or concerns. Dr. Leonard is also kind, knowledgeable, and dedicated. You would have a hard time finding a better vet.

It's the only vet in NEPA I'll ever recommend! The whole staff is lovely, from the receptionists to the techs to the veterinarians. They truly put your family member first above all else, and are up front & honest in every situation.

Everyone at West Side Veterinary Hospital was professional and kind. They made both myself and my dog relaxed and feel welcome. The Dr (Dr. Yaple) took the time to answer all of my questions and both she and the Vet Tech who helped us instilled confidence and calm. I would DEFINITELY recommend their services for your pet. Also, we did not have to wait long between the time we entered the office and when we were seen (which is often a very stressful time for pets.) It is a very well-run Veterinary office/hospital.

The best place to take your furry family members. The Doctors and the staff are kind, compassionate and very knowledgeable. Dr. Leonard took care of both my Guinea pigs and I believe that is why they both reached elder status. Now he takes care of my cat and soon my dog.

Dr. Leonard is great! He is very intelligent and caring and takes the time to call or email me about all the questions I have about my cat, Betsy. In addition, all the staff are very courteous and accommodating as well, even giving me samples of the kidney diet food for Betsy to try. Below, is Betsy in her "She Shed, " all ready for Christmas!

So pleased with the level of warmth & caring attention my pets have received at West Side Veterinary Hospital. From the kind, patient guidance of the reception/admin team, to the stellar empathy demonstrated by direct care staff members. When I first moved here, I struggled to find a suitable healthcare option for my two dogs. Some had vacancies for new patients but their reviews were not as impressive as West Side Vet. I would rather pay more for grade A service. That said, I do find costs are reasonable at this location. I feel relieved knowing in cases of emergency the West Side Vet team goes above & beyond to make accommodations. Grateful to have found a dedicated, passionate vet who takes her time thoroughly answering my questions and explaining procedures. I never feel rushed or judged for my concerns. The vet tech is clearly a professional with developed intuition of pet state of mind. My pets are much more at ease with the patient, loving techniques employed by my awesome pet care team. Today is the appt day for a crucial dental procedure on one of my dog's. I feel peace of mind knowing she is in good hands. Will be updating my review soon!

After getting the run around from every emergency vet in the area, I took a chance just going there with my Milo when he was hurt. Although he succumbed to the injuries the staff tried to do all they could for him. Their compassion and empathy during that difficult time was above and beyond anything expected. I appreciate their efforts and the care they showed Milo, myself and my family.

I was very happy with this Veterinary office. They were very pleasant when I called. Told them how my Lil Granddoggy got his eye scratched by a cat the night before. They said the Vet was very booked but for me to send pictures and the Vet would determine what's best for the dog. Dr. Yaple had message sent back that she would prescribe an ointment or I could bring the dog in later at 3: 50. Then she would do a stain test to make sure there was no scratch on the dogs cornea. We choose to take the dog in as we felt better safe than sorry. If scratched we would do what we could to repair the eye. Altho they had a busy booked schedule, we didn't wait long. Dr. Yaple and all the staff were so kind and patient with our Lil Micky. We cant thank them enough for seeing our Lil fur baby on short notice. Lil Micky is happy, eating, and playing once again with his lil Monkey today. Thank you!

The staff and doctors care about their patients. They are always willing to squeeze in an urgent visit. The pricing is extremely transparent, before they run any tests, you can just ask how much that will costs and they have the pricing ready for you (which I have found more than reasonable). I can be a bit of a pest when it comes to my fur baby, but the staff always welcome my questions and concerns. They also have an app where all of your animals info is stored, including future appointments. Overall, I highly recommend West Side Veterinary Hospital. They have treat me and my dog with respect and I have the highest respect for them.

My dog was treated with care did blood work and explained in detail what was wrong with my baby.

This is where I take my dog, they are really good and the prices are recently decent depending on what you have done to your pet or what kind of medication your pet needs

Wonderful place and they’ve gone above and beyond for my bulldogs and get them in fast with an emergency. Dr. Ritz takes her time and makes sure she meets all of my 2 dogs needs every time we visit and checks up on them when there’s an issue.

Choose this vet based on multiple personal referrals and after being very unhappy at our last vet. Dr. Yapple was wonderful! Couldnt be happier so far!

This Veterinary Hospital was awesome.
My cat Mr Meow had been limping on his paw. I made an appointment. Meow had stopped limping for a few days.
They checked him out said his paw healed.
There were no unnecessary tests. He got his shots updated a few butt scratches and lots of love.
They made the cat feel comfortable and also the owner.
I thank them for their compassion.

We can’t thank Dr. Leonard and the team enough for caring so much about our pup, Winston. We called today after he got into an aloe plant and was showing multiple signs of sickness from it. The staff asked me to bring him in right away and explained they were busy and short staffed but would see him as soon as they could.

I got there and although I did wait longer than usual, they still provided the top notch care I’ve come to expect from their team. Of course Winston was soaking up all of the love and didn’t care if we stayed there forever.

They showed true concern for his well-being and were so kind, making me promise to follow-up so they knew how he was doing.

I cannot thank the team at WestSide enough for the work they do, especially during a time when they are facing so much hostility. You are all so appreciated!

My little guy is getting up there in years and like myself, suffers from age related problems. The care he receives every time we come in is exceptional. Dr. Leonard discovered a problem that had been going on for years and that our previous vet had never addressed. The only reason my baby is still with me is because of Dr. Leonard and his excellent staff.
