I got my last bill after I had moved. The prepared date is 8/16/23. It's marked as a credit. I have called 3 times looking for a check, still have not received, it is now 11/7/23.

The workers called my special needs son the r word as they were leaving. They didn’t even fix my toilet, now there’s sewage everywhere and my son is screaming. The customer service is also quite unprofessional!

This company cannot seem to bill their customers on time, they have terrible customer service and overall I wouldn't recommend their services to anyone else.

Completely unprofessional company, to say the VERY least. They scheduled a water shut off from 9am-3pm and told us it may be shorter and that they just needed to fix an issue. I got home around 5pm and it was still off. The water didn’t come back on until 10pm. They provided my complex NO explanation whatsoever when they called them at 5pm. People were without water for over 12 hours because of their lack of professionalism and efficiency. They also have very rude customer service and truthfully don’t care about their customers. If I could give zero stars I would.

Didn’t think I’d find myself writing a review for a water company…but I’m renting here in PA and had to leave for CA for 5 months during my lease term. WVWA informed me there was a leak and have always been accommodating and put in effort to find a solution when my landlord was less than helpful.

I have had no problem reaching them by phone and whoever has been on the line has always been pleasant each time. When it was time to turn on/off service the providers who came out were also very friendly. I recognize everyone’s situation is different, but I have had no trouble with this company.

I don't even want to rate this place! This is the only water company that services my area, this service could not be worse. Note that I've only been using them for five months, and every interaction I have had has been horrible. Every time you call, which I have had to do often recently, someone with the nastiest attitude is on the other end. This has happened with every call I've made.
I received a letter informing me that someone needed to come check if my plumbing was up to standard. The visit has been rescheduled FIVE times, mostly due to no one calling me when they are at my apartment so I can let them in (or even letting me know that they were coming), and then they charge me $20 because of something they are to blame for. This establishment is full of lazy, incompetent employees. Good luck trying to get anything fixed from them!

Quick and responsive when called. Showed up to handle bad main break in good time. They deal with disaster as well as they can. Not perfect by any means, but again, they clearly are trying from what I can tell, and I’m quite the critic. WVWA is scheduled to finish clean up after the break later this week, so while not the fastest, still getting the job done and not abandoning their customers. That means the world to me. I’ll provide an update if needed after tomorrow but expect things to go well in their capable hands. Again, not perfect, but they deal with hard & heavy situations as well as they can. One improvement would be an easier option on weekends than waiting for emergency line to go through, but just a minor thought. Update: they didn't have proper equipment to truly clean up the caked on residue of mud layer, but I do appreciate them trying at least.

The costs of the water here is way, way too expensive. But then again the cost of sewage is even a bigger tragedy. Why is everything so expensive around here?

Pathetic customer service. Only a monopoly that doesn't have to compete for customers can be this bad

I have been on autopay since I have moved to West View. My account was taken off of autopay and I found a letter taped to my door threatening to turn off service. No communication that my account was taken off autopay and that there was an outstanding balance until I found the letter.

One star bc it's what they deserve. I hear they don't even own their own equipment. The subbed out work to be done across our driveway, honestly could have hired flamingos to do better work. Pathetic for what they get paid.

If I could give negative stars, I would.
The website and customer handbook state that new customers must physically come to the building to start an account. I drove to the office only to find a notice from March 2020 stating that no customers were allowed on the premises. A woman at reception was looking straight on at me and never did anyone even come to the door. In almost 3 YEARS was I the first one to arrive to the physical location to find this? Probably not. I called the number on the door and was “greeted” by the most unprofessional and rude employee.
I asked if I could complete a paper application since I was there and told her I had a standing accommodation through the ADA and for other reasons physically coming in at this point would be more convenient for me. I still was not allowed to come inside. I told her I took off work for this and it was the least they could do since I was standing in the cold on the phone.

The website and handbook states that the company serves the 28th ward of Pittsburgh. The employee said only certain parts of the 28th ward were served and she continued to say “You’re not even our customer. ”

You have no idea what other properties I may own or work with in my field. If I were to speak to my clients in this way, I would be fired. Your business has had almost 3 years to update both its handbook and website to be more accurate. Just because your business is a utility that people rely on to live does not mean you can treat people however you may feel. I will be reporting your business to the ADA and AG’s office.
