Westover Golf Club, Norristown PA

I don't golf, but I went here with some friends and family for an afternoon and it was a great experience. Other golfers were respectful as was the staff. Very nice course.

It would be better if they have a senior rate a little expensive for myself. I love playing the sport. I'm on a fixed income
The course over all is in great condition. I would play again. Plus the ruff is a little heavy hard to find the ball

Like the course layout. Promotes good pace.

Does that guy behind the counter ever smile. What a grump. Why would anyone like him work in the entertainment industry. Get some people who look like they enjoy their job.

What an absolutely terrible experience here. Called and made a tee time for a single for 9 holes. Could only make a 9 hole tee time after 2pm. Was traveling through the area and needed to kill some time so I thought I'd play 9 here. Showed up 2 hours early, spent $50 with tip in the bar on 2 drinks, wings and fries, and another $5 on their driving range that you can only hit irons on. Made my way over to the putting green and 2 minutes! Before my tee time I'm told that I can't go out as a single because whomever they paired me with was a no show. Their solution was for me to wait another 45 minutes to play with a 3some. Didn't have the time to wait that long because I had somewhere to be and would have paid $35 (overpriced for 9 holes) to play 4 holes. What an absolute disgrace of a club. Course looked poorly maintained from what I can see and certainly will never go here again.

Course was in good condition - tee boxes need a little work and some watering, very hard to get tees in - cart paths very rough, need repairs and repaving.

Good course with a fun layout. And the price is right after 3pm during the week! Good confidence booster for a high handicapper like me. The back 9 is very interesting with some scenery you don't normally associate with Norristown.
I've left my range finder there multiple times and they call me right away.

Some - but not all - of the pro staff are helpful. It's just hit or miss in there. The dude with the gray hair and goatee seems to have quite the attitude.

There's so much potential here with some changes that would help. The tee boxes are pretty awful and probably the only standout negative in my eyes. I'm not 100% sure why considering the greens are pretty good.

The greens tend to be a bit shaggy and slow but that's not always a bad thing. The cart paths need so much work that it wouldn't surprise me if management *wanted* you to drive in the roughs and fairways because the paths have to be tearing up the carts themselves.

The "cart path only" signs are faded to where they're almost unreadable and just an eyesore.

The snack bar on #8 is rarely manned but the lady in there has always been friendly and the prices are right. The pro shop clubhouse is seriously dated but I realize that's big $$$.

For the money, Jeffersonville is better and right next door but I enjoy Westover enough if I need to go out for a stress-free round, I rarely regret it.

The guy over the phone at the pro shop was very rude and disrespectful when I called in to try and book a tee time.

Front 9 holes are challenging, Back 9 holes are shorter than front. Good place me to play golf. Total yardage is not that long.

Good course with reasonable rates. Usually pretty well kept and also has an iron range for practice.

Westover is not a Bella Vista, Turtle creek, Golden oaks type golf course, their price policy thinks it is. $68 to play Westover? Our round was full of waiting on every tee box, a 5.5 hour round, and not a ranger in sight. 3 full holes open in front of them and nothing was done to speed them up. Course conditions were ok, as good as it gets for Westover really, but to jack up the rates for Westover is not what one would consider a "premier" course by any means. Played 4-21-23. Great weather day, very disappointing with. WESTOVER.

We had a fantastic time. We live about 2.5 hours away. Personally, i thought fairway, greens, rough, was well maintained.starters were some of the coolest people. Bartender in the clubhouse was fantastic as well.

The pricing is ridiculous. Had to pay $68 for an absolutely unkept course. Dandelions everywhere with many tee boxes that are just dirt. If you’re going to charge $68 for a course I expect very nice conditions. Could easily have just gone to a below average municipal course for a fraction of the price.

Amazing time and bartender jess was very attentive and cheerful. Will definitely be back for sure!

First time revisiting for an actual round, though I got my first golf lessons here a year ago. Scott DeLoach is a goat and a champ! Thanks to him I’m well on my way from below beginner to to an actual OK player! And that’s after only five lessons on top of that great course can’t wait to go back next season

We went to the annual tea dance on Sunday. It was so much fun The band was wonderful and so was the crowd. The country Club was a great venue.

Well kept. Good course. Great place to relax with a beer n burger on outside patio on a summer afternoon even if you don’t golf.
