Westwood Villas, Lake Harmony PA

The worst place I have ever stayed. Filled up the jacuzzi tub and the water was green. Water pressure was very low. On my second day, maintenance has had the water shut off and it has been out over 24 hours. WiFi has been out ever since we checked in. In addition the dishwasher has been broken. Management refuses to offer any kind of compensation. If we had not already driven all this way to go skiing we would have left after the first day.

This place is dirty and old.
I paid $200 for a pet deposit of which I requested back because of the issues we dealt with. Poor customer service meant I did not get my money back even after everything we dealt with while there, and thus I will resort to posting one star reviews about the place so others can see. We will not be staying there again nor will we recommend this place to others.
My family vacationed here almost ten years ago before, and the decorations are literally the same. That's how I can say it's old. I will post pictures of everything we dealt with. It is also not friendly to those who have mobility issues. We even called multiple times to have someone out to clean the unit and no one showed up. I even called through our timeshare and they tried to contact someone, but to no avail. They moved us to the unit next door after seeing the mold, but never came to clean the layers of dust from the unit we were moved to.
The villas are not connected to anything anymore like they were years ago, so the hotel amenities at Split Rock are no longer included either.
Also mention, no wifi for the foreseeable future.

Beautiful wooded surroundings. Good restaurants around Lake Harmony. Lots of deer in the area. Units are split level, so a lot of steps to get in and also inside. Jacuzzi tub and sauna was a plus and upper deck.

Smells musty, floors were sticky. We went out and bought cleaning supplies as soon as we got here. Fridge handle filthy with red jelly on the inside of the grip. Window sills dead bugs. Pictures are of floor cleaning pad and bugs. Definitely trying but missing the mark. Need to rip out rugs and hire cleaning service. Last note, no internet. I planned on checking in on work but was told when we got here their internet was down indefinitely.

Nice units but as with most time shares needs to be updated. 2 bedrooms and 2 1/2 baths with a dining room and fireplace. 3 TVs! Maintenance was responsive to our electronic key not working and gave us a regular key quickly when we were checking in. Wifi down for the whole week except for their lovely coffee shop at the HUB. Overall a nice place and convenient to Lake Harmony area.

Things have been updated since last visit. Could update the toilets.not as exciting since the split.

Westwood villas is exactly what you would expect in the Poconos; that classic 1970s feel. Upkeep on these properties continues to be a challenge but they certainly accept the challenge in stride. If you're expectations aren't ridiculously high, you will not be disappointed.
