We've been here dozens and dozens of times over the past 14 years. My husband has been there years before we met and loved it. Never had a bad meal here, ever. In fact, I get the same meal 99% of the time and it tastes exactly the same. Every. Single. Time. Love their drink menu and all the yummy cocktails they offer. Kids menu is really great too. I could order off of it and be satisfied with the meal. My husband usually gets the Lamb Chop Lollipops and they are to die for. The calamari and crab dip bowl for appetizers are a must to try! I'm originally from Maryland and we are picky about our crab meat. Let me tell you-it does not disappoint. They also give you fresh bread with seasoned oil to dip in-that's even delicious on its own. My all time favorite thing to get is the tiramisu. I actually crave it and we will stop in just to pick up orders to go of it. So creamy, rich, decadent. They best. This place is also really nice. You'll find a mix of tourists, local family, and business dinners going on. You can arrive in shorts straight from Hershey Park or walk in for date night dress. You're welcomed no matter what. Staff are always the sweetest! I have noticed lately that you can't buy certain items due to supply chain/shortages. Don't blame them, it's happening in a lot of places now days. Definitely recommended you try this place out. It's a must!

TL;DR: Service is sub-par, portions are extremely small (we ate elsewhere afterward), the food was lukewarm at best, and it tasted as if it came out of a frozen bag.

Where to begin?
The hostess was very nice. Unfortunately, that's where the niceties end. After we sat down, we waited about 10 minutes before we were greeted by our waitress, even though the restaurant was not very busy. The menu is fairly small, with no side dishes. Almost all of their seafood is shrimp, in one form or another. We both ordered the three-cheese ravioli, and what we got was not what we were expecting.

I had 6 ravioli and my son had 4. They were lukewarm at best, and looked and tasted as if they came out of a frozen bag. The menu had a variety of cheeses that were supposedly in them, but it seemed as if there were only one or two. The amount of cheese inside was minimal, and the portion size was that of an appetizer, at best.

After we finished our meal in three to four minutes, our waitress didn't come back to check on us for another ten minutes. When we addressed how small the meal was, she said it was one of the smallest meals on the menu, and that she wouldn't have gotten it. Although it's an upcharge, we would've appreciated a salad; however, this was never offered to us. Keep in mind that our meals were $19 each! After we left, we had to find another place to eat. 9-9 There is no need to call in response. Your portions and prices are set, But not appropriate for the quality served. The review is warranted

Such a great place to dine. It can be casual or dressy. Very accommodating. The mac and cheese small plate and home made ice cream are winners.

I had to cancel an event there and the management was very helpful, understanding, and professional.

My daughter and I had dinner here after unintentionally finding because a
our initial choice for dinner was too crowded. We were happily surprised with the service, ambiance, wait staff, drinks and, most importantly, the food. Oh my gosh, we had the small plates (pan seared scallops and crab dip) so we had room to enjoy the scrumptious desserts! Next time, What If will be our first choice. We will be back!

Nice bar. Pleasantly quiet, good for conversation.anyone remember conversation at bars?
Prices are typical on the Age Of Biden; Ridiculously Expensive. Trump 2024.

Don't be fooled by the hotel's outward appearance: this restaurant is one of the best in town! A great selection of appetizers and entrees, an excellent assortment of daily specials, and a wonderful dessert menu to boot. I have been going to this restaurant on special occasions with my family 1-2 times a year for at least 20 years now and highly recommend it to anyone in Hershey looking for a more upscale experience that won't completely break the bank!

Always a destination for a family celebration, Joanna Lembesis, owner of What If of Hershey in Derry Township, has won our hearts and appreciation for shutting down indoor dining for the three-week period, relying on takeout and delivery only, and taking all the precautions to keep her staff and the community safe during a global pandemic. We love you for it!

What if.you had a fabulous restaurant in the basement of a Howard Johnson's? Well, then you would have an excellent meal, prepared beautiful, priced appropriately, and served flawlessly. A definate Go-To.

The pros.the staff was wonderful the clientele were fun the environment was nice. The cons. I would take away the TVs because the menu is a bit pricey which doesn't match the sports bar look. I would not put a steak with crab on top of sweet potatoes. The sweet potatoes were good but they don't go well with the crab. All in all it was a good experience and we really enjoyed ourselves.
