White Dog Cafe Wayne reviews
20We had a rehearsal dinner for 19 people at the White Dog Cage in Wayne. Casey Kyler help me coordinate a great meal including hors d'oeuvre. We had a private room. The food and accommodations were fantastic. I would highly recommend the White Dog Cafe for for your next event. (They could more pictures of English Bulldogs) :)
Tasty food and drink. Great service. Contemporary American menu. Whimsical canine theme. Reliable. Always a good meal.
Or for a lunch with family and friends. Food was good but a little pricey for what it was, I wouldn't say it was exceptional. A few items were out of stock because the kitchen didn't prepare enough for the weekend crowd. It was a pleasant experience but a little on the crowded side in a small party room.
I went here for a business lunch with my team. The food was great and our waitress was friendly. Everyone enjoyed what they ordered.
Delicious, and shabby chic! It had a vegan option, but it is the only entree option for vegans/vegetarians. Would definitely go again!
Overall, the meal was good. I had the mushroom soup which was delicious. However, my poached eggs were quite overcooked for my eggs Benedict. The eggs and ham only covered half of each English muffin slice. The actual English muffin was excellent, much better than store bought.
Awesome food and ambiance. Was a little crowded, but they sat us quickly. Food was eexcellent! Probably better to make reservations.
This place is a trip!
I know lots of dog lovers who will be smitten with this place. The truffle fries are wonderful. The black bean burger, delicious without being too spicy.
Mixed feelings. Fun ambiance, good service, and some of the food was very tasty, but others in our party didn’t find their dishes worth the high price tag. Also, for being such a nice place and so expensive, they still charge you for bread without letting you know there’s a fee. Just kinda weird/overpriced in some ways.
Really great brunch menu, ambiance and service. Well worth the 45 minute ride from Upper Makefield, Bucks County.
I truly enjoyed the portobello Reuben. Great sandwich.
Just hope there would be more vegetarian choices.
Dog gone nice bar and dark wood beautiful decor. Drinks 4 stars. I'll be back someday.
We had a happy hour drink and had a wonderful time at the white dog cafe. The ambience was terrific and the people were friendly
Absolutely love this place. The food is great, the entire staff are friendly and it is quite clean.
Great food! We were pleased with everything we ordered. Service was amazing. We will be back! Only problem was that we ordered a bottle of wine and it was being chilled next to us. A party was being seated next to us and some guy tries to squeeze between our wine chiller and his table. His backside rubbed up against my bottle of wine. Yes, the bottle top, rubbed from left cheek to b-hole to right cheek. Now what!? I can't return the bottle and tell them someone didn't wait for us to move the chiller and his rear rubbed up against it. I raised my voice and said "what the heck" when I saw it happen, as I grabbed the chiller to move it and he said he was sorry. This is not White Dog's problem, but it took me 15 mins to calm down. I told my wife when his drink comes, I want to rub my cheeks on it just to get us even - it's only fair.
This is my first visit to this White Dog. We didn't have a reservation for lunch and the only tables available were in the heated tent. I loved it there. Sorry, no pictures of my delicious food. Our waiter, Daniel, was attentive and friendly. This is my favorite White Dog.
I’m really disappointed in this place. I’ve been to the one in Haverford, which was good. But this was my first time at this location and I don’t think I’ll come back here. First of all, the food took a while to come out. We waited for a good 30-40 minutes but the server didn’t even check back in with us to ask if we needed anything or to inform us about the delay in the kitchen. When the food finally came out, my omelette was cold and the cheese was dried up. The potatoes were bland and lacked any seasoning. The omelette was really small so I was surprised by how small the portion was considering the prices are high. My mushroom soup wasn’t anything special. The truffle fries that mg fiancé ordered was super salty and they gave him all the short ends. Their drinks for brunch had only 2 options, but no mimosas? Overall, I feel like there is a huge lack in quality and service. Our service was nice, but he was very soft spoken and we couldn’t hear what he was saying and he didn’t pay enough attention to our table. I feel like my dish was sitting out while the other dishes were being made. I wish they wouldn’t run the food out quicker so nobody’s waiting and being delivered cold food. Also, the falafel sandwich my friend got was cold and hard. It was awful. The atmosphere is cute but that’s as far as it gets for compliments. It’s just overpriced and overrated in my opinion.
Brunch was delicious. The drinks were strong and the atmosphere was very lively. Prices were normal for the area, definitely on the higher end. They pack you in like sardines though so make sure you have a reservation.
Really great location. I think the food is better than University City's, which is good. Can't not order the truffle fries!
I had a business lunch on a week day. Before going, I reserved a table through Google. This feature worked very well. There is outdoor and indoor seating. The service was good and the food tasted very good. However, the noise was outrageous. At 11: 30am not alot people were there but by 12pm conversational noise was very high plus I think they had a tug boat in the kitchen blaring a horn every 15 minutes.
