Whitemarsh Memorial Park

This is one of the most beautiful, queit, and breathtaking cemetary i have ever visit! (and ive visited many) I would reccomend this to anyone considering where to bury a loved one because each time I have taken the 40 minute drive from my home to spend time visiting my fathers grave- i feel like im in heaven with him! The scenery and statues are are just breath taking. That along with the cleanliness, amazing upkeep of the trees and shrubbery, and how peaceful and quiet it has been everytime i have been there- i get down and chat to my Dad and wind up staying hours a few times! (seems i always go on days that we have incredible weather and blue blue skys with puffy white clouds!) i have also walked the park as i pray and have noticed other runners going thru sometimes as im sure they feel the same amazing energy from this most beautiful and serene cemetary!

After searching for months for place to lay my parents to rest, I found Whitemarsh Memorial Park. The park is peaceful and beautifully maintained. Erica was patient and helpful as I worked out the details of what I wanted for my parents. I was immeditately stressed when she was promoted and relocated to another Dignity property prior to the service. I had out of town family coming in and a lot of small details to pull together. Lauren (manager) assured me all would be well and Steffani would be handling the service. She was absolutely right. Steffani was attentive to all the details, a joy to work with and she brought a peaceful presence to the service. It is difficult to bury loved ones, I am very happy it is done and the details were handled so graciously by the staff at Whitemarsh.

Please think twice before dealing with this place or at least Michelle Chrisman. I was put in contact with her to discuss the plots my parents had puchased many years ago. Unfortunately they both passed before I turned 50 and I had them both buried at our church. I contacted Whitemarsh for options as I was not sure what to do with their plots, etc. Michelle was extremely rude, insensitive, and not helpful. She actually seemed annoyed by my call and conversation. How can you be in this business with an attitude such as that. Very disappointing.

Exceptional cemetery with exceptional staff. Compassionate, helpful and very professional.

A beautiful and historic cemetery designed by the legendary architect Paul Philippe Cret! I have family buried here and it is a stunning place to be laid to rest.

Everyone at Whitemarsh Memorial, especially Michele, have been very accommodating, extremely helpful and patient through my whole process. Almost all of my family has future ties to Whitemarsh and although I wish the circumstances were very different, they have always been very helpful in making the situations bearable.

A lovely park to lay a loved one to rest, visit them, or simply to take a peaceful walk on the beautiful grounds. There are also a number of birds (bluebirds, kingbirds, blackbirds, northern flickers, etc.) here for any bird watchers.
