Wiener World Pittsburgh reviews
21Most underrated restaurant in downtown, and one of few that still has the charm of Old Pittsburgh. If you, like me, are heartbroken about The O closing then look no further than Wiener World. They, like the O, have delicious, naturally casing dogs, as well as oversized French fry portions. They also have $1 La Prima coffee. Staff is very friendly as well. God bless Wiener World
Awesome food. Had a patty melt for the first time ever and it was fantastic! The homemade chips are a must and what great service from Dennis and Melody. Definitely will be back
Very nice, relax, classic-style diner with very delicious food. Has wonderful customer service and are friendly and interactive.
Can't say enough about this place and the people who work there. Professional and very friendly, this place really one of a kind. Food is awesome and at a very cheap price for the quality they provide. Thos place is a must try for both the food and the staff. I will be back frequently!
This place is worth the trip. Friendly high-power staff. Prompt service. Affordable prices. Even though the name applies to their hot dogs, they have sheer quality food that fits anyone's taste buds. Stemming from the grilled chicken salad to the awesome fish sandwich to the ultimate atomizer. Daily specials that makes your trip special. Do not forget Wednesday's Brisket Lunch Sandwich Special.
Awesome place. Hot dogs, fish sandwich and fries were all great. Throwback style counter for eating in. Nostalgic, blue collar Pittsburgh vibes like every quick serve spot I recall my dad taking me to in the 80s, but are hard to find nowadays.
If you love wieners, and there's a lot of you that do, you'll love wiener world. The staff are really cordial. Have your order ready, because they are quick. In and out. Get your wiener. Delicious!
If you like coleslaw, this has a great consistency but ZERO dressing on it, basically just shredded cabbage.
Their deli sandwiches are really something special. Worth trying if you haven't been there before!
One of my favorite lunch spots! Everyone is super friendly and the food is awesome. Try the steak hoagie and fries with gravy! Their hot dogs are also amazing, of course!
My wife and I stopped here for the first time today and it did not disappoint. We shared a chili cheese natural casing dog combo and a kielbasa combo. Both were great and the people behind the counter were all super friendly! We will definitely be back here.
I like the food. We ordered chicked sandwiches and I was satisfied with the size for the price. They have a lot of quick lunch options and they make your order fresh.
First time eating here, was in the area. Iconic Pittsburgh eatery. Eating here is like taking a step back in time. Very enjoyable experience and the food was delish! Fries were excellent!
The owner and employees couldn't be nicer and the service and the food was great. Recommend a trip
Absolutely the best hot dogs in Pittsburgh. If you are a tourist this is a must visit place. Seating there is stand up, if you want to sit down, during the summer there are tables on strawberry way where you can sit down at. Everyone there is super nice
Quick, easy, and pretty good hot dogs. Fries are good. No seating, only a counter area to stand. Could be cleaner, and more expensive than expected.
Everything I've had from here has been delicious - no problem with personalizing for your tastes. The grilled chicken salad is a go to. And Ice cream!
They've extended their menu into more sandwiches and salads and they're great. Still enjoy their hotdogs too.
Under new management. The expanded menu provides options far beyond hotdogs, all of which are great. Especially the brisket sandwich. Summer seating on Strawberry Way provides an option if you don't want to stand and enjoy. Great lunch spot.
Dogs are good, not great. They prey on tje downtown lunch crowd and overprice their food. If I want somethi g quick and don't mind paying, then its good.
