Windlestrae Park reviews
14Im a Travel photographer, I often travel to all the national parks in the surrounding area. Although, Windlestrae Park is very nice and quiet.
I used to live in that area. This park is a gem. Still come back to walk the trail and around the fields. Alot of memories came flooding back from watching and coaching my kids playing baseball and soccer. Very touching to see the memorial to DJ. He and my son were very good friends.
Very peaceful and plenty of shade. Would be nice if the had more seating/benches around. The eating area was occupied by a party which didn't leave room for anyone else.
Great little park. It is very beautiful, well-maintained and clean. Atmosphere here is calm and cozy. There are also public tennis court here and many other fields for different activities. I am often visiting this park and I like it so much. Bathrooms are clean too.
I like this park because is one of the few with public tennis court inside Montgomery Township, Pennsylvania.
Windlestrae Park has also, baseball fields for little leagues, soccer fields, as well basketball courts.
And a couple of new hiking/biking shaded trails running into the wooded area.
Open all year run.
Great park alot of different amenities/ tennis courts / hockey- soccer. Son was there for a work outing.there's a few different areas that you could have a BBq at.picnic tables etc. Very well manicured park. Different sections alot of ground.
I thought the park was more for athletic use. But there are trails around the athletic fields and further out. There’s a grassy field with mowed paths for zig zag walks or playing games,
A wide grassy path along the creek with round white markers on poles to follow,
A path and bridge at end of parking lot joining this park to another athletic field,
A paved track all around the 2nd athletic complex,
Tennis courts,
Then 2 wooded, shady, dirt/mulch paths into the woods! One is marked by a red disk on pole,
Other is marked by a yellow disk. The paths start at different points on the walk around the athletic field. They look to cross over but continue on separate paths. Could each be 1/2 - 1+ miles each. Very nice!
Wonderful community park! Lots of walking baths, bathrooms at the pavillions (wheelchair accessible tables), playground structure for toddlers. Sports fields are well maintained.
Beautiful and clean park. There are good soccer and baseball fields, so my son always wants to get back there
This park has soccer fields, baseball fields and track for running. There are swing sets for kids. Restroom and small shop for snacks and beverages. The parking lot is good size. Weeknights there are always kids playing soccer and baseball.
A very clean and beautifully designed park. I used the Disc Golf Course which was a lot of fun. Challenging holes at times but great Iayout throughout the woods and wrapping up into the open fields.
Large park that has 2 entrances, plenty of soccer, baseball fields and nature trails. Also tennis, basketball courts, 9 hole disc golf and playground for kids.
A nice, clean park with a lot to do. Lots of fields for various activities and trails through and around the woods. You can easily spend hours here.
Cute, small, quiet park. Great fields. There's another similar playground and more courts and fields across the parking lot.
