Park Windsor Wonderland reviews
13Great playground, has fences, lots of new equipment. A big pavilion, and some tables in the fenced in areas.
Beautiful new playground! Only suggestion is to have more shade available other than the 2 outside corners & the pavilion. Our kids got hot very quickly. But everyone had a blast!
Summer park program must have started. Dozens of children running amok while 2 teen boys kept updated with the world via their phones. New facilities are great but we left early after my granddaughter kept getting pushed off of equipment.
Great little play area for kids. We were there to walk. The paths are half paved half gravel. They have moderate elevation changes. It would be nice if all paths intersect rather than loop around within themselves. There is plenty of parking. Unfortunately there is only one portable bathroom facility available near the playground.
Nicely renovated park. Turf on the playground. Picnic benches under a pavillion along with benchs with shade in the fenced park area.
Downside- not a wheelchair friendly playground. An individual in a wheel chair could navigate around the park but would not really be able to play much. It would be nice to have a wheelchair swing or one of those larger swings for children with disabilites to use.
My daughter just wanted to visit the animals and give them love. The staff was so kind and patient as my wild child asked ALL the questions. She was given allowed to visit the kitties, and told which birds were safe to pet. Thank you all for helping turn a bad day better. (There is a wonderful male cat there named Harvey, he could use a home)
It's a nice place especially since they redid it. The only thing I noticed though, is that for younger ones (like ages 1-2) the only thing there is for them to do is swing. Otherwise, it's pretty nice.
Absolutely very nice park to go to this weekend we went down for the yard sales and the food, it was enjoyable even in the
The new playground is for 5-12 yr olds so there's not as much to do for the little ones now. We had a good time though!
They did a great job on the revamp! My kids loved it before and really love it now. It great for giving my 2 sons something to do during their brother's baseball game. Food trucks during the opening was tremendous, however the prices of most food trucks are OUTRAGEOUS these days, but that's a whole other discussion.
We came for the Easter egg Stavanger hunt.it was disappointing because it was way too much walking for little toddlers (2year old) then only 1 egg for all that walking.it needs to be on level ground for babies.
So excited this playground is finally getting the upgrade it desperately needs. Hopefully the pavilion is getting an upgrade as well. It would be nice to see the walking trail extended considering the amount of people that use it.
No dogs? What kind of public park doesnt allow you to walk your pet around it? And theyll give you a fine for even having a dog on the grounds?
