Kelly has been wonderful for years. Just need to remember to brush the pup before bringing him in for his date with her.

We appreciate how detailed and attentive Kelly is with our Cockapoo. As new dog owners she patiently worked with us to get a cut that worked best and as a result we are always receiving compliments about her!

Fantastic groomer! Kelly really knows what she is doing.

I brought my puppy snickers in, and even before our first appointment she helped me out with how to take care of his hair.

I’m just happy to know my puppy is in good hands.

I took my greyhound to see Kelly at Wipe Your Paws from 2017 until 2021, and the only reason we stopped going was because we moved! She does a wonderful job. My greyhound has dry skin and gets anxious, but she always tailored each grooming visit to his needs. I was always able to contact Kelly via phone or email, and scheduling was easy because she worked with my schedule. I highly recommend her business.

Kelly does a great job with grooming our bichon- he always looks perfect. She is very thorough and professional. She even detected a developing ear infection in our dog that we all missed and our vet noted was a "great catch! " - we were able to get it treated before it developed into something much worse. Thank you, Kelly! Great job!

Kelley regularly grooms my Bichone. She alerted me to the fact that my dog had an ear infection. My vet informed me that she was very impressed with Kelley for discovering the infection that was not easy to see.

We love supporting a local woman-owned business! We've been bringing our dog Sandy (a mini schnuazer) to Kelly since we adopted her about 7 years ago. We're first time dog owners and trust Kelly very much with our senior dog, who is a bit anxious. We always know Sandy will be safe at Kelly's and that she'll come home fresh, clean and with a great looking haircut (she even makes adordable holiday bandanas for the pups in December!). Kelly is very warm, reliable, communicative and easy to get in touch with. She's very knowledgeable about dogs and is a great resource. Kelly also has gone above and beyond a couple times for us. Once, Sandy got into a bunch of prickly burs (they were all over her stomach and legs and she was very uncomfortable) and Kelly fit us in that day to take care of it. We'd recommend her services to anyone and will bring future dogs to her.

Kelly has been our dog groomer for 20 years, we started taking our first dog to her a couple of months after she started grooming and she's now grooming our fourth dog! We love her, she does a wonderful job and is very through so the dogs always look great and come away happy. She alerts us to any health concerns she may notice, and has made great recommendations for other service providers in the community (she connected us with a great dog-walker!). She's worked on our dogs as puppies, middle aged, elderly, and even our blind and disabled dog, and she was always kind and compassionate. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a dog groomer.

My dog is high maintenance and cranky, but Kelly happily took him when Petco refused. We've been coming since 2016 and haven't missed an appointment yet. She is extremely knowledgeable, detail oriented, and professional. And somehow my dog cooperates in her presence. She may be one of two people outside our house who he tolerates. We are so grateful for her!

I have been taking my dogs to Kelly for 20 years which is how long she has been in business. She had been recommended to us by a retiring dog groomer. We have had 5 dogs in those 20 years of differing breeds and needs. She has cared for each of them in a loving and professional manner. I have commented to my husband, in a joking manner, that she cares more about our dogs than we do. She has mentioned lumps that should be looked at by our veterinarian as well as concern for our dogs gaining too much weight at times. I can wholeheartedly and without reservation recommend her for grooming your pets.

We have been taking our now 8-year old miniature schnauzer, named Stache, to Kelly every 8 weeks since we moved to State College in the summer of 2016. Previously, we had taken our dog to a groomer who worked out of her home and always received consistent and personalized service this way. When we moved here, we were looking for someone who was reliable, professional, and who took their work seriously. When we found Kelly, we were very impressed by her introductory process and were excited to learn she also worked out of her home. Over the years we have been impressed with Kelly's work and we get compliments on Stache's cuts all the time. She is extremely organized with her scheduling, reminders, and new Covid protocols. She is also a great resource for any pet-related questions. We are happy to call Kelly a friend and highly recommend her for any and all dog grooming needs!

I haven’t been to Kelly’s grooming business for several years but, a few friends recently asked me about her service, so I figured I would post to share my experience. I bet there are MANY who share our point of view but don't bother to post. Kelly is a skilled dog groomer that has limited people skills. Her cancellation policy is absurd. I was billed when my older dog was too sick to make the appointment even though I emailed more than 24 hrs in advance of cancellation. Kelly claimed she never received the email but, even after I showed proof the email was sent (and of her reply), Kelly would not retract the bill (which, of course I did not pay). She is VERY aggressive about locking you into a long-term series of appointments that may exceed your needs and preferences. She pushes tons of unsolicited animal care advice, even if its contrary to what your own vet recommends. Makes us think she wanted to be a veterinarian but couldn’t cut it. Her manner is often condescending and she clearly puts the needs of her business far above the experience of her customers. You can clearly see that in her pattern of replies to poor reviews. It’s always the client’s fault. There is no such thing as a humble, learning moment for her. I’m sure you’ll see that in her reply to this honest review. With other GOOD options in State College, who has time for this kind of rudeness?

Kelly does an amazing job with my moms too senior dogs! Their coats are always super shiny and she takes the extra time to check their health and weight. You can tell she truly cares about the well being of the animals she grooms!

We have been using Kelly's services for over 10 years (2 dogs), and consider her to be a trusted member of our extended family. Her grooming is always beautiful and her advice about our dogs, whether it be physical or behavioral, has been nothing but first-rate. We cannot recommend her highly enough!

Kelly is the first groomer I took either of my dogs to. I have noticed a huge difference in our pups since taking them in to see Kelly. They have shinier, healthier coats, and shed significantly less overall. Plus, they love going and always come home smelling fantastic!

When getting started with grooming, I was really intimidated by the scheduling factor. I didn't know how far apart they should come in, or how to get them on a schedule I could uphold due to working full time. Kelly worked WITH me to create an ideal schedule for not only my dogs but my life as well. She has an easy to follow and organized system for reminding you about your appointments, scheduling in advance, and making sure my dogs get the care they need. It's super easy to drop them off and pick them up, and she even scheduled my entire 2021 in advance for me (which I understand is standard procedure). That's a HUGE help for planning my day-to-day schedule and bigger things, like vacations.

We love taking our dogs to Kelly!

When I rescued my first dog Abby in Sept 2010 I asked the folks at the rescue shelter do they have any recommendations. They immediately said Kelly from Wipe Your Paws. I reached out to get added to the mix and I haven’t looked back since. I have proudly referred Kelly to so many people annnd the compliments I get on a regular basis about how soft and good my dog looks speaks volumes. (I proudly name drop Kelly when this happens). For 10 years Kelly has taken excellent care of Abby and now my new rescue pup Darby.
My dogs know when we get close to her street. There was a positive excitement in the car. To me I knew that meant they were happy Bc they are taken care of. Kelly has found growths and spots on Abby to which my vet follow ups were conclusive with what she thought. Her care and experience speak for themselves with each dog that leaves her shop.
I also found her organization with appointments and great communication with her goals to keep the dog groomed on a schedule to be incredible. Each dog means something to her.
If you are looking for a caring, reliable, professional, detail oriented and experienced groomer Kelly at Wipe Your Paws in State College, PA is the only one I know has work that speaks for itself.

I've been taking my dogs to Kelly for almost a decade now, first a very smelly cockapoo, now a scrappy terrier. Kelly is a brilliant groomer, pays close attention to the dog's condition, and catches problems that a vet might sometimes miss (especially ear and gland issues, but also bumps and skin tag type things). She is also incredibly caring and willing to help - once I was out of town and my partner took the dog out for the last time in the evening and he managed to stick himself in the eye with something. Kelly met them at the emergency vet, since my partner is much less experienced with dog ownership than I am, and everything turned out fine for all concerned, but it's that kind of personal, caring, individual relationship that makes Kelly and her business special.
