WM - Northwest Landfill & Butler Hauling, West Sunbury PA

The drivers are "ALWAYS" very pleasant & cans are placed with care! The other refuse company in my area just leave the can on the street, or on its side after they go through my neighborhood. They are ignorant & very rude. Josh & BJ always say Good Morning & wave if I'm outside. Waste Management is more $ but worth every penny I spend!

Always punctual and polite. They leave the bins upright. I’m very satisfied within the service.

Our guy BJ is a cut above the rest! He collets the recycling bins which are empty by the time he arrives and puts them in the yard so they don’t fly into the road. He has turned around when we saw us scrambling late trying to put our trash out. He goes above and beyond the call of duty and we sincerely appreciate that. He even left us a Christmas card. He has really set the bar high for others. We couldn’t me more happy with our service. Never thought I’d be saying this about a refuse pick up company.

The Employees @ WM are great.
They always put the can back in its place.
Site is always left neat, clean, & tidy.

Always on time and let us know if there is a delay in pickup which doesn't happen very often. Nice people.

Ordered a dumpster and waited 3 weeks for it to show up and then be told they couldn't give me one at all

Waste Management has provided us excellent service. They often pick up our garbage even if it is not on our regularly scheduled day. They are very friendly and professional. VERY HAPPY!

Tried to take a van full in while cleaning out a relatives house. It’s not by weight, it’s 138$. I about fell over. Thankfully they told me beforehand. What a rip. The other landfill took the load for 15$.

Overall, waste and recyclable pick-up is satisfactory and reliable. Leaf pick-up is spotty and pick-up dates are difficult to determine through WM or Butler Township offices.

WM is technologically advanced. However, with a new driver on our rural route, it has taken a bit to settle on a location for trash pick-up. With time, this 'hiccup' should improve. We are grateful for the cooperation from the regional office.

Wish I could give 0 stars. Overpriced, no customer service at all. Took my container and never returned it. Wish I had another option here.

If you’re expecting a service based company to actually perform the service they’re supposed to, do not contact waste management.

My collectors are polite, nice, personable and respectful. No trash is left behind and containers are always upright. The trucks are clean, the drivers and collectors are responsible and do a great job.

The route driver does take care of his or her customers. If your expecting a container delivery prior to your first 2 or 3 pickup dates, don’t hold your breath. I’ve seen snails move faster than their container deliveries!

I absolutely love waste management. I have had both Vogel and waste management and would go with waste management every time. Everybody is so nice! My garbage cans are not just thrown back on my property after pick up. They also aren’t as picky on all these rules for garbage bags!

First four weeks of service the trash ppl never came. Said I did not put it out early enough even though the can had been at the end of my driveway for four weeks straight. They finally looked at the route maps and saw the truck was not even driving down my street. Once that was sorted out pick-up service was still very inconsistent. Gave up on recycling altogether because they would not come when they were supposed to. I would call when they did not pick up and they would say they would send a truck but they never would. Finally canceled after another three-week period with no service. They then charged me $129.40 to pick up my can. Be prepared for this charge when canceling even if you do not have a contract. I then called and made the final can pickup payment and they kept sending me a bill. I guess the payment did not get processed as stated so I was hit with other fees as well. Not a good experience. I just wanted someone to pick up my trash without having to deal with constant issues.

I have had Waste Management for many years. They have always been reliable. There switch over from bags was a bit confusing but once through that everything remains very good.
