Awful. I've gone here for years and have problems with the doctors, staff, and front desk woman. I got my pap smear and everything came back negative and they told me I have persistence of leisure that needs colposcopy, went to my family dr for second opinion after this and they reached out and the obgyn says " our mistake, good catch". Not to mention I'm pregnant. Went here for my 3rd pregnancy 4 weeks after I had my appendix out with surgery complications and told them I want to know if the baby is OK, they didn't check the baby at all and was more concerned about drug history. Every experience is gets worse and thankful I found a place that actually cares about my well being

I've been here a couple times with each pregnancy, and each time was awful. I felt ignored, I had unanswered questions, treated poorly, and felt disrespected/violated after telling them "you're hurting me" "it hurts" multiple times. I was not treated as a human being, and rushed in and out. I am high risk and they didn't check out my baby at all. No ultrasound, no fetul heart rate monitoring, and they didn't even double check to make sure I even was pregnant. Instead, I felt accused of drug use and felt they were seeking any reason to call cys. I will not be returning. I always find it in my heart to give second chances because this is where my mother goes, but unfortunately I don't feel taken care of here, nor safe.

This is my third pregnancy with Women's 1st, fourth total. Up until yesterday, I never necessarily had any complaints. My doctors have all been attentive and made me feel comfortable and answered all my questions. The back and forth with labs and scheduling can be frustrating, but they have always done their best to worth with my work schedule and the fact that we have three other little ones' schedules to work around. Yesterday I had my routine prenatal checkup at the Fredrickson location. Upon check in, the receptionist had an attitude as if she just didn't want to be there. My nurse was great, doctor was wonderful, assuring me today was the day for my NIPT labs, the lab was open until 5, and she put an asap note on my chart to the receptionist because my schedule doesn't allow for back and forth trips constantly. Head to check out of my appointment and grab my test kit to head to labs and was immediately met with a snippy attitude from the receptionist, Kim. Without a word in myself, she read my doctor's notes and said, "Yeah, you can't do that today. I'm leaving at 4: 30, it was already scheduled for me to leave early. You'll have to just come back another day. " She gave me no option to bring my sample back to a nurse or other doctor, and was extremely rude when I mentioned the Union Deposit location, as my doctor had mentioned I could also go there as well. Kim responded very sharp, "I lived across the river, you'd never make it in time. And we are closed tomorrow. You could wait until your next appointment in four weeks. " So frustrated and appalled at her shortness and unwarranted nastiness, we left and I immediately called the Union Deposit location where the lady happily took care of my concerns and set me up with a specific time appointment at their location for the very next day (rather than Fredickson's difficult walk-in lab hours), also apologizing for the rude treatment I got from the receptionist earlier.

Overall, the office and doctors have been great, but Kim the receptionist better take the patients into consideration and do her job to better serve and treat them with respect. It is difficult as it is to schedule around everything life throws at you, but to be treated poorly based off the notes my doctor left was completely uncalled for. I hope I don't encounter her again!

Glad my PCP listened to my concerns about my Nexplanon implant. Can't remember who I spoke with here bc I left upset after she accused me of having an STI. As soon as the implant was removed the issues I was having disappeared. Funny how that works huh sometimes folks with a medical degree THINK they know more than the person who's been living and menstruating in a body for almost 2 decades. Glad I found a better OB/GYN. Women's 1st will not be missed

You'll have to wait a half hour after your given appointment time to actually see a doctor.

I have been going to Women First OB/GYN for many years. Dr. Parul Krishnamurthy is second to none. She is very caring, compassionate, and professional, and truly cares about your health and wellbeing. All the staff is wonderful and I give a big KUDOS to all of you. Keep up the great work!

I've been seeing Dr. Krishnamurthy for many years and have never had any issues with this office. Dr. Krishnamurthy is always very carrying and patiently explains all aspects of my care. Not only that, but she always remembers details about my personal life and asks about them. I just love her and will continue seeing her.

I’ve been going here for years. Each experience with the front desk gets worse every time I go in. Today was no different. Completed online checkin prior to the appointment. What happens, get there and get asked every question that I’ve already answered online. I told the Marsha, the front desk rep, I completed online checkin, yet sage continued. I was annoyed and so was she. What’s the point of online check in if the front desk associates are going to do it again in-person. To top it off, she removed my current pcp, and when I scheduled my monogram today, there wasn’t a dr to link it to. I told her my pcp is the same until I see the new one, who’s also under UPMC. Please provide additional training for your your front desk staff. This is ridiculous. It should not be this hard. Really read these awful reviews and make changes. However, the clinical staff in the back is awesome along with the front desk rep in back for checkout.

I love Dr. Krishnamurthy! She always carefully listens to and addresses my problems/concerns. She very compassionate to the me regarding the current health issues I have been having. She is persistent and thorough, she will not stop trying to help you until she finds a solution to the problem. From prenatal care, urological, to regular gynecological care, even after the birth of my son she even did his circumcision and did a wonderful job! She is simply the best!

Absolute worst experience I’ve had with a practice and I have been very patient. I never complain but people need to be warned you won’t be taken seriously even with complicated pregnancy cases.

They never pick up the phone. I tried to call to get directions 5 times and ended up at another branch so they cancelled my appointment. Very rude staff!

They did not file the correct codes for tests completed. Causing me to pay for tests that should have been covered. Contacted the office multiple times to have it corrected with quest however it was never completed correctly. I gave up and just paid it.

The manager is mean. My insurance reprocessed my claim and paid them, but they kept my money and the manager never replied my message. I am sending a complain to the attorney general and hope their behavior of stealing patient's money will be punished sooner or later.

The worst place to go. Their doctor conducted vagina exam in every visit. We were not sure whether their knowledge is outdated or they just want to make more money. After changing to another provider, never had such exams again. FYI: such unnecessary exams may cause miscarriage in the early stage of pregnancy.

I regret coming here for my pregnancy everyone told me stay away from this OBGYN but I didn’t listen. Two of the doctors were very rude to me and one of them actually help with delivery which is sad she treated me the way she did. They never answer calls or voicemails that you leave which is a problem since this is a OBGYN that should always be available. Worst experience Ive had with my first pregnancy.

Never ever go. Completely irresponsible staffs. They don’t consider diagnosis/report from other hospitals and you have to redo all tests and loose your money
