Wooden Bridge Dry Goods reviews
24My friend and I were being judged. We're both Christians, and felt it was not right and at uneased about it. She would look over her glasses at us. Which you don't do to anyone. We felt we were treated disrespectful and treated the way Jesus would not.
Always helpful and gracious. Good instruction to help with projects and planning. Great selection of fabrics for coordinating.
A large selection of quality fabrics and products. The people who work here are always pleasant and helpful. This place is always quiet and relaxing.
I dropped off a favorite coat because the zipper was stuck. They replaced the zipper with a better quality one. The service was fast and reasonable. I will be going back if I have problems in the future.
Always kind and helpful they had just the fabric I needed today. I always have a good time driving the back roads nearby visiting Farm stands and enjoying the country air)
Just a tip: I keep one of their business cards on my refrigerator so I remember the name and how to get back there whenever I want a certain fabric for a special project.
I've gotten much joy through the years shopping at WBD. Many beautiful quilts are the result of the wonderful selection of quality fabrics they carry.
My first time visiting this week after living so close for 7 years. I have 6 children that I have to take with me just about anywhere I need to go, in addition one has special needs who can melt down and struggle with transitions fairly often. I was greeted upon entering and treated very kindly by staff. They are sweet and made me feel comfortable which speaks volumes as we normally get “the eyeballs” in the general public. Something I always appreciate about Mennonite run stores is how my children are treated as blessings. The store has many options and seems to have all your sewing needs to accompany fabric. Good prices and we will definitely be back- probably too often.
I live in Florida, but this is a great fabric shop. Quality Fabrics and the people are very nice and helpful.
Excellent store to buy fabric, thread and all things sewing. Staff was knowledgeable and very helpful
Tons of fabric to choose from. Bought fabric to make curtains for each of my kids rooms and loved it! Found some really neat stuff. The staff is always polite and very helpful with any questions. Will be returning for future fabric purchases.
Best quilt shop around. Knowledgeable staff, great fabrics, enormous selection, and very helpful.
Best Dry Goods Store. They have everything you need. Each time we come up from our home in Florida this a must stop.
I love teaching here and working with the owner, Annamae. The store is always busy. She has a great staff and is usually working out front with the customers too. She has more fabric panels aka cheater quilts than anywhere I've ever seen. The store is a favorite destination for quilters everywhere. Many customers and students drive 1-2 hours to get here. Just outside Kutztown, PA on a Mennonite farm. Your husband will love sitting and relaxing and watching the horses, wildlife, the stream flow by. Check out my Jody's Jems patterns when you visit.
Phenomenal place for all your quilting needs! Awesome customer service and the best fabric selection in the area. And it really is over a wooden bridge and on a working dairy farm too. I go just for the ambiance because I am from Pennsylvania and that is home to me.
The only caveat is finding the place. Its in farm country so be prepared for driving around a rabbits warren between corn fields with very small street signs. Make sure your GPS is working!
Have a large selection to choose from. Colors are fabulous. They have wool and different blends at fair prices.
I love this store. They have a terrific selection of fabric and a very friendly knowledgeable staff.
The shop had saved me and some fellow students quite a few times. They have always had the fabric or accessories I and other students I've taken here, needed. Last minute shopping trips before class for the win. Plus the prices can't be beat, and Terry have good homemade treats for sale on Thursdays. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable, will always help you find what you need.
Loved the amount of fabric there, pricing was very reasonable. Helpful ladies in the store. Will definitely be going back!
This is a terrific store.they have more quilting and other fabrics than I've seen in a long time. They are so helpful and nice. It's a breath of fresh air!
I now live 2 hours away, and I still go there for the bulk of my quilting fabric. Anna Mae's prices are the best ANYwhere. The photo shows about 1/6th of her fabric and about 1/10th of her store. She's got 7,000 or more bolts. The rest? Paltry by comparison.
