Woody's Bar-B-Q reviews
13Had it delivered to our Hotel thru Door Dash. Pulled Pork Sandwich and Chicken and Ribs excellent. Sweet Tea was good
The most horrific meal I’ve ever eaten.burnt chicken.just disgusting! Will never go back. Will never recommend. One star is too much! The staff was very unsociable. Definitely should not be in the public eye! And after to speaking to an “so-called” owner.she stated that “cooks have bad days too”.
Great place! Clean and friendly. So nice to get a chilled glass with my beer! Down home vibe. Loved it.
We were visiting the area from Johnstown, and Woddys BBQ was recommended by a friend. Now, I'm going to recommend it to anyone reading this review. The food was great. My wife said the pulld pork was probably the best she ever had! I had the Sampler, and it was excellent. The ribs were perfect. Prices were good, and the service was even better. If you want the best experience possible, ask for Hailey to be your server. She was friendly, helpful, able to not take a joke personally, and can sure give it back. I hope the management, owners, and any customer who's lucky enough to have her as a server, appreciates the absolute gem she is.
$53 for a burger, salad, and chili. Asked for burger with pink- was well done. $4 up charge for sweet potato fries - not mentioned anywhere. Chili- which took a long time to come- served with a tiny spoon, no crackers.
Service was slow and didn’t seem at all interested. Last time there. Glad we didn’t have any alcohol- draft beers are expensive as well.
My husband and I dined at Woody's for the first and the last time! I ordered a 1/2 pound black Angus burger and sweet potato. The burger was to be cooked through without pink, but should not have been served given it was dried, black charcoaled to the point it must have lost 50 percent of it's weight. Service was slow and at best minimally perfunctory by our waitress. My husband's house favorite barbeque sandwich and small portion of potato salad were relatively good.
We will not return due to overpriced food, poor attitude towards guests to even think of serving that burger and an aloof waitress.
The best bbq I have had in a long time I so would come back again and after reading the reviews I wish I saved room for the sky high pie
The food wasn't the best I've had. There wasn't really a lot of flavor. Not what I was expecting. They were short staffed but then again no one wants to work these days.
I'm picky with my chicken. I'll probably only get my chicken dinners from here from now on!
Had lunch at Woody's today. A pleasant surprise. I took the waitresses suggestions on a couple of dishes and she was spot on. I had ribs and it was tasty. I would suggest stopping in to Woody's for a good meal.
I don’t know how this post got on Woodys barbecue. Sorry that happened I just found the post. The post was meant for a place in Atlantic City New Jersey. Please except my apologies!
I was very disappointed at our latest and probably last visit. Waited on drinks. Then waited on food. One party got up and left because no one ever came and served them. My cocktail was not made correctly. It is my favorite so I was very upset. I had hoped that service was improving?
I didn't expect to find such authentic BBQ flavors in Pennsylvania. Everything we had was amazing. Juicy meat cooked to perfection, awesome sides, and lots of variety. The meat fell off the bone, and the sauce is the best I've ever had. We bought a pint to take home. We also couldn't resist a sky high pie, which we took home to eat later. Rich chocolate filling was a winner! Thanks to all the friendly and helpful staff for making this the first of many visits sure to come in the future.
