Worthwhile Thrift reviews
14It's big and you could very well find valuable and worthy stuff here. I bought beautiful paintings and art work here. Value for money.
I bought a clock here. It had no sticker on it that said "tested". I said to the young girl at the register, "I hope this works, it doesn't say, "tested. " She said, "oh it works. " I bought it, came home and put batteries in it and and it didn't work. I tried different batteries. I called the store and left a message about it. Ironically it was the only time that I didn't have the receipt. The girl had trouble retrieving the receipt and since I paid cash I told her to skip it.
I received a call back from a Nancy. She asked me what time I was in the store, checked the register and said she could not find it, she told me I got it at 50% off and all kinds of push back. She was out to prove that I wasn't telling the truth. I said, "ok I am a liar then, I get it. " Why did I expect her to say. "I am sorry that happened, there will be a credit at the store for you for $2.99? " She went through all of this conversation over $2.99, as if it were a court case that had to be proven. I couldn't believe it. Maybe there are more liars out there than I realize. I finally gave her what she wanted and said, "consider it a donation then. " I will always have a negative feeling when I go in this store from now on. It was as if I was asking for a credit on $299.00. Whatever happened to, "the customer is always right? " Has humanity stooped this low that a person's integrity is always in question, even over two dollars and ninety-nine cents? It is a sad world that we live in now.
Clean and neat and very good Selections and fair prices!
Great cause to help I plan to buy and donate.
Wonderful shopping experience. There is a wide variety of items and some if the decor items are so unique. The staff members are friendly, helpful and accommodating. Jessie helped me so much.
I broke my nail before walking in the store and it ripped when I tried on jeans. At the register, Jessie helped me & gave me her nail clipper, file & a bandage.
I wish I lived in this area to shop here more often.
Happy shopping.
Great treasures & friendly staff. Best & appreciate half off whole store discount 3rd Thursdays of each Month
AMAZING! Everyone who works there is wonderful and I found the specialty item I needed in 5 minutes at an UNBEATABLE price. THANK YOU!
I stop in at least a couple times a year and always seem to find a few treasures, and someone to share a smile with. After today's visit I'm only four points away from earning my $5 back in the rewards program)
Made mistake over charging me, which i get- mistakes happen.but then staff super rude trying to fix, refuse to print receipts of transaction, super dodgy.eesh.
This place was amazing when it was up the street a year or so ago.it was a huge space and the selection was amazing.they are now where rite aide use to be in plumsteadville and the selection has gone down hill while the prices have gone up.seems like the sell the really cool stuff online and leave the rest for the store
One of the nicest thrift stores I’ve seen in a While that was Worth the drive. It’s clean, well organized, and not cluttered or cramped. Prices are good as well. The young lady working there was very friendly and nice as well.
Great deals, nice clean store, and very friendly. I come in often especially on THRIFTY THURSDAY'S,
Where everything's half off! How great is that!
This is a well organized thrift shop benefitting a wonderful cause. I've donated a lot of items here (be sure to read their donation guidelines on their website) and found some incredible deals myself. Very nice staff and super-clean establishment.
Staff was friendly. They are a thrift store so what you see is what you get. There are random little gems found here from time to time.
They have a nice book selection, random sports equipment, clothes and other miscellaneous items.
I was politely greeted as I entered the store and the staff helped with getting items from the top shelves.
