I am very pleased with the way Caitlin did my hair. She consulted me professionally and gave my hair a much needed and modern haircut and did an amazing caramel balayage on my virgin black hair! She restored my faith in hairdressers again. Definitely recommending and coming back

I asked for a little off and a trim the lady then cut more hair then I wanted and made it way shorter then the photos I showed her when I told her to stop cutting my hair she said she had to continue doing it my hair is now too short to even style it

Alissa was so incredible and gave me exactly what I asked for! I went into the studio confused and not sure of what direction I wanted, I just knew I wanted a bob! She went above and beyond with her patience and hearing me out on the details I wished for. So happy with my cute summer cut! Definitely recommend Her! Thank you Alissa, I love my bob cut:)

I had positive experiences at Wyomissing Hair Studio until I went in to get my balayage from a different salon touched up. I wasn’t new to balayage, and the stylist that I booked my appointment with seemed quite confident (overconfident apparently) that she knew exactly what she was doing.

What I ended up with was NOT balayage. It was not blended well and there was no depth or dimension in my hair. There were obvious horizontal lines where many of the new highlighted pieces were added, and each piece was uniform in color. It looked like grown out foil highlights. The color was too light overall, which is what I had communicated that I didn’t want, but I am wondering if that’s because the stylist used foils instead of plastic wrap and then put me under a heat lamp. The placement of the new highlighted pieces was odd and looked unnatural as well, which made me question whether she had the necessary experience to be offering this service. I have never had this problem at any other salon when getting balayage. Also, the entire process here seemed rushed. She did not ask me for my opinion when she was finished, nor did she offer to show it to me with a hand mirror. Honestly, I got the impression that she did not want to be there that day and was in a hurry to get it over and done with.

I contacted the salon on the next business day and explained my situation. They said that they would have the stylist who did the balayage get back to me. I waited 24 hours but no one called me back, so I called the salon again and waited another day before finally reaching out to the manager. The salon offered to fix my hair free of charge but I am still not fully satisfied with it. After their attempt at fixing it, I still do not have balayage. What exactly did I pay $266 for?

I was also extremely disappointed in the stylist’s response, or lack thereof, when I tried to reach out to her about it. I had always been very generous with my gratuity each time that I visited the salon for her other services. I even went above and beyond by giving her an outrageously generous tip for the balayage service, out of faith, and just because I understand how thankless some jobs in the service industry can be. I was nothing but kind to her. Yet, she wouldn’t even return my calls to see if she could improve the situation. So unprofessional. If one of my clients was dissatisfied with my services, I would make five minutes for them. I expected to be treated better.

The stylist who did my balayage at Wyomissing Hair Studio was the first named when I asked the receptionist who had the most experience with it. Was this honestly the best that this salon has to offer? The stylists at Wyomissing Hair Studio appear to be capable of cutting and styling hair. I never had any issues with that when I would go there with my three daughters for haircuts. The front desk staff is friendly as well. If you’re looking for color services, though, I would definitely recommend going elsewhere.

I love coming here and have great experiences with all the wonderful staff. My girl Caitlin has me looking beautiful EVERYTIME! She’s young so she knows how to cut, dye, and style hair and make it look trendy and not old fashioned. That’s my girl and they have the best hair products!

I really love this place I only go to this hair salon since they amazed me with there skills I do recommend coming here if you try it here once I promise you, you will want to come back

It took me almost a year to post this review. I went there after being told by the receptionist that the person who would be cutting my hair knew how to cut curly hair. I was lied too. I went in with waist length hair and came out with shoulder length. After asking and showing about 3 inches that I wanted off. I asked for my money back and the owner refused. So I left a poor review. She asked me to take it down so she could keep her reviews high. I would not trust this place or it's reviews based on this alone. I would like to say they continously tried to convince me all I got was a trim and my hair wasn't that much shorter. My hair went from being 22 inches long to 10. I measured. That's a whole foot of hair. The customer service here is terrible and the owner removes poor rreviews. Find another place for haircuts. On top of.it all when I went to another place for a haircut they without knowing the story told me my hair had been cut unevenly and poorly.

We moved here from NJ and needed a new hair stylist, so based on the reviews, I decided to try this place out. My hair is very short. I’m so glad that I was set up with Linda. She nailed it on the first cut just by showing her a photo and listening to my concerns. I took my mother and she was extremely happy with her as well. I’m so glad that I don’t have to keep on searching for a salon.

Naz was my stylist and she was so sweet. My hair was damaged with a lot of breakage. We decided to cut quite a bit off. I was nervous but I really love it! Also had color done and it’s gorgeous. My hair looks and feels so much better and healthier. Everyone was very nice and welcoming. Thank you!

Hanna was great! She listened to what I was looking for and took the time to get my color and cut exactly as I wanted. She has a lot of patience and knowledge!

Where to begin. I visited the Wyomissing Hair Studio after a botched color from another salon. I came in for color correction and the stylist discussed options with me, she even consulted with another stylist on what to do. My hair has a lot of warmth and often looks brassy or orange. I stressed that I wanted to avoid the brass tones if at all possible. We went through the process of highlights and lowlights and when we were finished, as usual my hair had brassy orange tones at the roots. To be clear, I do not blame the stylist for this. They were working with an already botched color job that was no fault of their own. Well, after all I went through with the other salon I think my emotions just bubbled up and I burst into tears. They were so kind to me and the second stylist (I wish I knew her name) jumped in to help. They made an adjustment adding some color to my roots and some more foils and voila, The brass was barely noticeable.i can’t express to you how wonderful this place is and how kind and caring the stylists are. I felt embarrassed for crying but they made me feel like it was ok and they did everything they could to fix it. These ladies are so professional and obviously care
about their customers. I highly recommend them!

Very careful about covid protocol. Friendly, clean. Denise is fantastic with men's hairstyles. Been going there for years.

Very nice place to go. The staff is nice. Would recommend to go here. They do a great job!

Took both our boys for first time to WHS today. Was very impressed. They look great thanks Kaitlyn nice job well done.
Will definitely be going back.
