Thank you so much! Sara was amazing, and took every detail of what I asked into reality. It was absolutely the best haircut I received in a Very long time. I got so many compliments on my pixie cut! Everyone there was super nice, and had a very inviting atmosphere. Absolutely will come again.

I just moved to the area, looked at the instagrams of a few neighborhood salons, and picked XO Salon at random for a dry haircut. My hair is very thin/fine so I'm pretty much chained to a blunt cut bob, but the stylist (Sara) listened to exactly what I wanted and did an excellent job. They also do men's haircuts-my partner had an appointment a few weeks later and he was pleased with his haircut as well.

Sara is friendly but not overbearing and she has a very serene energy. Her haircut price (I think all the stylists have different rates) was extremely reasonable and not that much more than the chain places. Definitely worth paying a little extra for a better quality cut and to support a local business. The salon was very clean, parking was easy, and note they only accept tips through Venmo or cash. I also highly suggest going to the Grandview bakery around the corner for a treat when you are done.

XO is by far my favorite salon in the city. The vibe is chill, and the staff is both talented and kind. In addition, I highly recommend Sara Horn. She is gentle and has a great eye.

I had my hair done by Samantha for the first time, as my regular stylist is on maternity leave. Samantha was so friendly and knowledgeable - I showed her a couple photos of the look I was going for and she completely exceed all expectations. It was like she had done my hair all along, and knew exactly what my style was. She was also super easy to talk to and fun to hang out with for a couple of hours! I highly recommend her!

I recently moved to Mt. Washington and was lucky enough to pick XO Salon for my first hair appointment in Pittsburgh. I was scheduled with the owner, Natalie, within a week and she could not have been nicer or more skilled. I had about 4 months of regrowth on blonde highlights and she knew exactly what I wanted when I asked for a cooler tone and really took the time to make sure I got a perfectly done full head of foils and also a gloss treatment that toned and conditioned my hair. I left with my hair feeling healthier and softer and of course, the color was perfect! The salon is really well located in the Mt. Washington neighborhood and Natalie and her staff are wonderful. Do not miss out on this one!

Lydia was very accommodating and took my appointment within 15mins of calling. The XO salon is cute and clean. A great place to have in the Mount Washington neighborhood.

For over 10 years I went to the same salon and when I moved, I was afraid to try somewhere new closer to where I now live. Thankfully I found XO Salon! Lydia is fabulous. Convenient location. Prices comparable to other great salons. Love checking their latest work on Instagram to see their up-to-date styles. Will definitely be back!

Natalie is awesome. She is very talented and really cares about her clients. Sue has been giving my 91 year old mom a perm for many years. She is great.
