Yealy Eye Care reviews
15Extremely helpful staff, and great selection of eyeglasses. Easy to schedule and quick return on glasses!
A change in insurance caused me to change eye doctors something I initially wasn’t thrilled about. However, after seeing Dr. Frank, I am very glad that I did. I found her to be very approachable and appreciate the time she gave to answer my questions and discuss my options. No heavy sell on contacts or glasses either from the office which I appreciate. Very glad I made the switch.
They have excellent and professional staff that help you understand and appropriately select eyeglasses according to your needs.

Liz was absolutely amazing. I called this morning and got right in. My Granddaughter glasses were broken, and she helped with the best way to go. She was also fantastic with my granddaughter. Thank you so much.
I was greeted as soon as I came in for my appointment. They staff is very helpful and friendly. Nice selection of glasses.
Our entire family comes here (5 of us) and the staff is nice especially Maryann at the front desk. She is always friendly and very knowledgeable!
My son is non verbal and in a wheel chair and they are able to check is eyes and get his prescription! They are very patient and friendly! Very accommodating!
The doctors are really nice. But I don’t think the receptionist is friendly. I had appointment and I was late 10 mins due to my car issue. However, they didn’t let me in and ask me to reschedule again and I know that it was my fault to come 10 mins late but the person at registration seems kinda mean. After that I asked for my prescription and they said that I had to get the contact lenses first then I could have my prescription. Well I will wait then absolutely find another place for my eye care. Kinda disappointed!
Update: Back today for my contact lenses. They are nice, of course different ladies at reception. Came 12 mins earlier. 4 stars
Excellent service I liked how kind the doctor is and he answered all our questions thank you
Very good doctor and staff. Thank for care about me and my kids I love this place all the ladies at from they are so nice special: Marianne & Janitza. THANK YOU
Both my son and I come here. Dr. Glinsky is great with my hyperactive 4-year old (3 when we started). Maryann at the desk is always super friendly and knowledgeable. The optical department technicians go out of their way to be incredibly helpful. Liz even cut her lunch short for me so I could pick up my glasses before going on vacation.
Came across yealy as one of the few in our area that took my daughter’s vision insurance. Went to pick out glasses and had little to no guidance in doing so. She was poorly fitted and the glasses are far to big for her. I wish I had known better. Mind you, it is hard to fit glasses on very young children if its not something done often by the technician. However then they really should not be doing so. Now we are out what money we had to pay and stuck with poor fitting glasses that will take years to grow into. If looking for a child under age 3 or so, stay away. Make the drive to a child eyes in mechanisburg
I been with them for years me and my son and the doctors and employee's are so kind and friendly and understanding of my son ADHD I love them they are awesome and there options on glasses are great
Dr. Ryan Yealy is the best, very caring and thorough! Staff is extremely nice and professional.
Contacts I was prescribed caused me eye irritation and the lenses blurred after a couple days of wearing them. The trial contacts were fine, but the set I purchased were definitely not the same and took a month to be able to pick up. I called and the costumer service was rude and condescending; wouldn’t allow me to change or see a different optometrist at the office. Don’t sign anything here without reading the full form.
