Yellow Creek Campground reviews
7Very clean. Nice little campground. Close to IUP. It was very quiet. Great place to stay!
Stayed here for a week. Staff was super nice and the grounds were clean and kept up. A lot of seasonal campers but there are spaces for transients. We had a 40ft motor home. 50 amp service and water hookup. Dump site available. Washer and dryer with honor system pay boxes. Camp store available. Highway is busy but did not hear anything inside at night. Nice place to visit!
Vaguely gross but ok.
I was super impressed by the prices and the fact that they had electric tent sites. They do have a lot of amenities. Each campsite had a picnic table and fire ring.
I was kind of let down when I got to my campsite. There was litter all over. Nerf darts and Swisher sweet wrappers mostly. The bath house was also kind of gross. One of the bathroom stalls had been clogged for the 3 days I was there. The shower stalls were mostly clean but behind the exposed plumbing was Band-Aids and cigarette butts. Not a huge deal but kind of gross.
The workers here are so great and understanding. We originally booked Brookside Cabin but due to proximity issues with a dog that was pretty chatty with mine and I didn’t want either contained to either their RV our our cabin and the one beside it was the same just a little further to give a perfect buffer. During our one night stay in Woodview Cabin there was Bingo and an ice cream social. We unfortunately missed the ice cream social since we were working on trying to get our fire going to make mountain pies for diner but Bingo was a lot of fun. The entire place is dog friendly but everyone was really good at keeping their dogs under control and on leashes and overall just really friendly. We will be returning for sure and recommend it to anyone exploring the area.
Bingo most Saturday’s with cash payouts. Fishing, hiking, activities for kids. Fun for the whole family!
Always have an awesome time at this campground. Fishing, bingo and dancing to the band or DJ!
