Very nice walking/biking path. Right off of the highway close to everything. There’s an eagles nest right at the beginning where you can see two gorgeous eagles! We saw them both flying towards the nest bringing food we assumed was for their babies. Amazing sightings

Now the rail trail connects up to John Rudy park. This extension is sunny and noisier than the southern part of the trail, but still a good ride. The Codorus Creek is in much better shape than when I was a kid. Now it supports Bald Eagles and Ospreys nesting near the trail. The trail itself is half paved, half gravel and unlike the southern part, it does have some hills. I still prefer to ride on the older sections of the trail, but this extension is still worth doing.

It's a trail and there's nothing much to it butit does get you out in the nature and nature is beautiful. The only thing you have to watch out for is the people on the bicycles as they have a tendency to go a little too fast on a trail that is meant for all.

Absolutely beautiful Trail. Due to all of the recent rains there were a few muddy patches that caused a bit of slipping with the bikes but other than that it was gorgeous.

Love the rail trail here! Beautiful weather means busy day here. Needs more parking. Every available spot was taken.

An excellent place to jog/walk, walk your dog, bike, leisure. Lift your head as you enjoy your time in the trail and you might just see an eagle. And there is a car park!

Not a very long trail, but a decent short jaunt for back and forth. Fun things along the way including wildlife (eagle flew over my head and back to the eaglet in the nest this trip), a sports park, old caboose and mill, abandonments, bridges, etc. Easy access and okay parking (until it gets super popular)

Nice lot to park and access the rail trail. 4 starts because the rail trail in this area is absolutely covered with geese poo.
