After being spoken to so rude and disrespectful I’ve decided to never come back here again! Being a first time dog owner, I wasn’t aware of certain things. Jason decided he would try a belittle me instead of educate me and when I wouldn’t let him talk to me that way, he started with the name calling. Completely disappointed in the way I was treated, will never be returning! The nurse who was there said she didn’t believe me that Jason called me a name, and he turned around with a smile on his face and said yes I did call her that! I mean what kind of professional veterinary office behaves in this manner? Smh just AWFUL and a complete waste of my lunch break. Just disgusting customer service!

Cannot thank them enough for the kindness and compassion they showed me when my dog passed. They have been our vet for years and from my first encounter it’s been nothing but positive. They never treated my guy as a dangerous pitbull they showed him nothing but love and took care of him as I would. They have for all my animals! They are reasonably priced and don’t do anything just to do it. They listen and respect your decisions. They have gone above and beyond for my family and my pets EVERYTIME. They have stayed late and gotten us seen in an emergency situation without question. The BEST staff I’ve had the pleasure of knowing! BEST VET OFFICE AROUND! Blessed they are part of my family! Scoob will miss you guys especially Jason!

Sad day. Had to put our dog to sleep. This vet helped us on short notice when we weren't a returning client. Very understanding staff. Very professional. At a time when they could have charged whatever they wanted, the price was still very reasonable.

They really take there time with each patient and are very thorough with each pet. We've been going for years now and I wouldn't want go anywhere else.

We found them to be very caring. Dr Durphy and the entire staff were very nice and thorough.

Desk staff who takes calls and sets appointments is very unprofessional. She can't even take correct information that she is asking me for. First sign to avoid places like this

I went here to get my dog spayed here because that's where the rescue I got her from told us to go to. They were extremely nice. I again brought our dog for another kind of urgent issue and even though they were full, they were able to squeeze is in between appointments

Our dog was limping so we made an appointment at any veterinarian we could find. This wasn’t his normal vet. Appointments are curbside, so we weren’t allowed to go in, which wasn’t a big deal, but wasn’t great. The vet calls us in the middle of the appointment to give us an update, but his bedside manner was probably the worst I’ve ever experienced. He starts talking about the possibility of cancer or hip dysplasia. He also says that our dog is fighting him, so we ask if one of us can go inside to comfort him and the vet says “you are aware there is a new variant of Covid right? ”. I have never been talked down to like this. Honestly I wish my dog got a good bite in there.

We will be switching offices! We had an emergency with our English bulldog and her regular vet could not take her. York Road Veterinary Hospital was able to get her same day. They were professional and extremely nice and caring. I thank them so much for making sure my girl was okay!

I've been going here even before the name and vet changed! I love love this office. They are professional, everyone is kind, respectful and friendly. You can tell they ALL care for our furry family.and thank you for all the care and love.

My dad brought my cat here because we thought she had a tooth problem and our normal vet was booked. They had him wait 4 hours in his car while they didn't update him. They did a blood test on my cat and she needed fluids. They refused to even give her an IV. Those 4 hours could have drastically helped her and then we had to run her somewhere else. She didn't make it. I will never take a pet here ever again.

York road veterinary hospital is a complete class act. They are punctual, friendly, caring, and super professional; which is especially hard when pretty owners aren't allowed inside for the visits. They are also super helpful and are only concerned with getting your pet healthy and aren't trying to sell you a whole bunch of unnecessary things. Thanks YRVH for getting Kala on track for success and spayed. She's doing great!

Such an amazing doctor and staff! For over a month and a half they worked tirelessly with me to figure out what was wrong with our cat, preformed every test possible and even stayed after hours to help on more than one occasion. Every staff member we spoke with on countless calls were extremely patient and understanding with us, they were also kind beyond measure. In the end it was just our cat’s time to go, the doctor and nurse who were with us at the end were so kind and sympathetic we can’t thank them enough. If I could give more than 5 stars I would. Thank you so much to everyone working here, you carried us through one of the hardest times of our life with genuine care and concern for our cat and for us.

Dr. Durphy has cared for our Bull Mastiff (Shiloh) since she was a puppy. We had to say goodbye to her recently after nearly 10 years.
Dr. Durphy helped us make the difficult decision and provided emotional support throughout the process.

Very kind and professional staff. Had my dog fixed and now take her there regularly. Would definitely reccomend!

We took our Great Dane Stella here to get spayed and get her shots. Dana and her staff were phenomenal and patient with our nervous rescue dog. We felt comfortable and confident that our fur baby was in the best of hands and they exceeded our expectations! I would definitely recommend!
