Younkins & Associates reviews
18Love the staff and Dr. Younkins! Have been going here for many years and have not ever had a bad experience.
Everyone was great. Cleaning protocols and waiver process were clear. Appreciate Brenda and all of the members of the team.
In my opinion, Younkins & Associates provide the best dental experience ever. I've feared going to the dentist since I was a child and since going to Dr. Younkins, I am very comfortable with him and his entire staff. They are all very professional and friendly, they explain everything they are doing, and definitely put their patients at ease.
I highly recommend them!
This was my first dental cleaning since COVID-19. The staff maintained social distance as much as possible; the hygienist wore a mask and face shield. I was aware of new precautions and felt very safe. The office was very clean throughout. Dr. Younkins has been my dentist for about two decades. I trust his practice.
I love coming here as they consider my schedule top priority. I have no trouble getting an appointment scheduled and they respect my busy schedule. I was simply in for a cleaning and had a broken filling that I was unaware of and they were able to pull me aside and fix that which saved me another trip. Thank you guys for being awesome!
I love Dr Younkin and all the people that work for him. Always was able to get me in if I had a problem and they were able to help me to work our payment plan so that I could have my teeth taken care of.
I hate going to the dentist period so I can't give 5 stars unless they anesthetize me. Pretty laid back office. Did good work, just in a bad spot in the back where the tools and/or shot can make the jaw sore and since the government is cracking down on opiods they aren't prescribed and it's quite painful
This is one of the top dentists in state college! Dr. Youngkins treated me with respect and dignity. I can’t tell you how invaluable he and his services are to this town!
Went right in they did the work quickly and painless. I like the people here at this Dental Office. Great staff.
Best dentist experience I've had. Little to no time in the waiting room, the staff are all so nice and Dr. Younkins is great too- of course he's a little rushed at times, but what doctor isn't these days? He does the job and they're all so accommodating!
Gentle care, very friendly and helpful staff. Works to maximize my insurance through Penn State.
Very courteous, professional, honest & trustworthy. I've never been able to say that I like my Dentist until now.
Love Dr Younkins. Have been a patient for 14 years. He is very good at what he does. Very quick and efficient when it comes to repairing teeth. Staff is great there. Very friendly and helpful. Also very concerned for the patients comfort while having procedures done.
Only been there for normal checkup. But Brenda, the dental hygienist, is very nice & friendly. I have a very good experience going to there, and would continue to do so.
He always finds something wrong, I had only had a cavity filled once before I came to him. It makes me suspicious, anyone else?
Dr. Younkins' has an attitude problem. Does not listen to the patient and seems to be bothered whenever a patient not doing "big" procedures comes in.
Decided to replace a bunch of my existing fillings without ever explaining to me why they needed replaced and ever since there have been nonstop problems with those teeth. He is also way too rushed both with exams and procedures. I've had lots of fillings from other dentists and never had the severe pain in my jaw from how sloppily he injected the novacaine - I could barely open my mouth for almost a week. ALSO, something that I think he could get in trouble for (or should, imo) : his ASSISTANTS fill the teeth, he just does the drilling. Honestly I think that the problems could have been avoided if an actual dentist filled my teeth, and one that WASN't rushed. During the exams, he would just come in and talk to the assistant, without saying more than one sentence to me. I'm looking for a new dentist.
