Finally found “my girl! ”

So I used to have my girl that was decent but nothing to write home about and one day I hd a terrible experience and just could not bring myself to go back. For the past several years I have been bouncing around or having a friend who does hair trim me up.

I noticed a previous coworker of mine, Leanna, who I was connected with on Instagram had created a page for her work. Locks.by. Leanna.and I really liked some of her work.

I booked an appointment and I was quite nervous. I wanted a cut an partial highlights and I have not died my hair in about 13 years.

Leanna hit the nail on the head with both the color I wanted as well as the cut. Some stylists don’t actually listen to their clients but Leanna really focused on what I was looking fo accomplish and did a fantastic job!

Also the salon is super cute, clean, and staff is friendly! Highly recommended and I will certainly be coming back as a regular client!

I recommend this place so much! Leanna was great, and after not having my hair cut for 5 years and all the way past my butt she managed to cut and color my hair perfect and she’s done an amazing job thank you so much leanna and I will forever be back! I recommended her in so many ways to ask for her, she will do an outstanding job!

Ziggy is a Master! A Gifted Artist! After years of searching, I finally found an exceptional and consistent hair stylist! Yay! My hair cuts and color are the best of my life. The salon is beautiful and the staff are very cool. The one hour drive to see Ziggy is worth it! He is the best.

I absolutely love this salon! Such a great comfortable atmosphere and everyone is so friendly. Ziggy and his team are very knowledgeable and creative! I always like to change up my color and Zig always gets it done exactly like the picture I show him. Truly a master of his craft!

Just sharing so women with similar hair color as I do not get fooled. I have dark brown hair and wanted ash blonde highlights. Ziggy looked at a picture of what I wanted and said yes he could do it. I already had done those ash blonde highlights to my hair and had them at the ends as my hair grew out. I specifically mentioned to Ziggy that maybe we should not bleach the ends of my hair since they already have the ash blonde color and just focus on the dark brown-and he insisted that he should color them and not to “tell him how to do his job”. The bleach was applied to my hair and he only came to check the color while I was sitting-because I asked him to. Same thing when I had it rinsed in the sink. His personal assistant kept telling me while I’m at the sink ”listen this not exactly the color u want, and there will be some brasiness (when I had told Ziggy that i don’t want any brassiness) and he kept saying no there is no brassiness. He was wrong. My hair had all shades of brass and very little if any ash blonde. He burnt my ends and ended up in a knot that took them 45 minutes just to detangle-and I had to cut off 4 inches of my hair if not more. And to add insult to injury, he didn’t stay till the end when i blow dried my hair to see the color which was clearly not what I wanted. He left. It speaks volumes about what kind of business/person u are If u abandon your client. His sweet personal assistant tried her best to bring him back but he wouldn’t. The only good thing he did after he messed up so bad is he did not charge me.
If you’re looking for someone to take good care of your hair and not fool you and really spend time with you (and not bounce from client to client to make money) then Ziggy is definitely not the place.

Leanna is the best! She has so much attention to detail, it’s not like other stylists I’ve had that rush through you without actually assessing what’s best for you. Every time she’s done my hair I’ve loved it. If you want somebody who knows what they’re doing and really pays attention, she’s your man. This place is great and relaxing. Highly recommend

Ziggy is a master! I have never found anyone that could pull the gold out of my hair. He pulled out the gold and gave me an amazing cut and color!

Just wanted to share my wonderful first time experience at ZigsZen salon in my eyes they deserve a 5 + review Ziggy and staff are amazing friendly and knowledgable about cuts and color I highly recommend his salon I love my cut and color he actually put a pep in my step.looking forward to my next appointment.

Great experience! This was my first time at this salon, so I didn’t know what to expect.but ZIGsZEN exceeded my expectations. Everyone was very personable and professional. I got a dry cut from Ziggy and am very pleased with the results. 1000/10 will be back again and recommending to all my friends

Recently visited for my first time. Online booking was easy and convenient. The salon is welcoming and clean. Switching hair salons can be stressful in hoping that they hear you and do what you ask. Ziggy listened to exactly what I wanted, and executed it with perfection. I couldn’t have felt more at home while there. Can’t wait to go back!

I highly recommend Zig Zen Salon. Ziggy Murin is the best Master Stylist. He got up at 5 am today on his day off to meet me at his beautiful salon for a much needed cut and color. He’s been my stylist since the mid-90’s. I wouldn’t go anywhere else. I trust my hair to no one else. Come here once and you’ll be amazed, too. Trust me.
