The garment for the electrodes is complete garbage. If your absolutely still no alarms but if you move the alarms go off. How many people are absolutely still while sleeping? The garment allows the electrodes to roll and lose contact with your skin. Completely unacceptable. I had to remove it to get sleep. Very short sighted engineering in my opinion and I feel like it’s a scam

I was in the ICU the representative of Zillow arrived in my room. I told them that I will not be paying for this vests. They stated that I met a criteria for their program and I will not be charged for anything. One month later I found out that they charge my medical insurance, over $2900 monthly and Bill me $100 monthly copayments I called their customer service explain to them that I was in the ICU. They said it’s the responsibility of the patient to make sure everything they were told is correct. Long story short they are liars all they care about is the bottom dollar all about money forget about the patience they are liars. The vets didn’t do anything for me for three months. I just wore it they are liars don’t trust them!

I feel that Zoll is a scam. I never needed one but they acted like it was part of my hospitalization. Never explaining billing. I sent it back within 5 days.but billed me for 30 days. States that's their policy. Definitely a money grab company taking advantage of people in the hospital.

This is such a scam, even when calling them about a bill it shows up as a spam number on phone. Supposedly my husband's cardiologist ordered this vest after he had a massive heart attack and still recovering in hospital. It was extremely uncomfortable for him, didn't fit right, pads kept twisting, and couldn't sleep with it on. Caused more stress to wear it than worrying about another heart attack. He had it for 10 days then returned. 3 months later they are calling and saying we owe them $616.19, never received a bill, wanted us to pay over the phone. Asked to be sent a bill, got bill, no service dates. Called Zoll, $600 for 10 day usage, after insurance paid 80%. No pro rating, that is how much for a month usage. I get told they can cut it in half, hey only $300 and your insurance paid 80%. Unless you Absolutely need this vest, I would not recommend it, it is such a money scam, if we didn't have insurance the total bill for 1 Month is $4325.00. Check BBB on this company also.

I used a life vest for 2 days and had to return it due to the irritation from the 2 back panels. I now have permanent scaring on my back.

I appreciate the science behind this and the premise of helping in the event of sudden cardiac arrest. With that said, there needs to be a lot more work done so that the vest doesn't go off because of movement causing "artifacts". Also it is very heavy and cumbersome to the patient.

This company is shady and calling numbers not on file if your name matches a patient's name.

The " Lifevest " that I would compare to as a midevil device along with the iron maiden or the rack! This thing when designed had very little consideration for the patient who is to wear it! They expect you to wear this thing 24-7 for months with wires and electrodes digging into your back, ribs and chest making it virtually impossible to sleep in! The day time function is not much better!

I've recently been diagnosed with heart failure and my physician recommended life vest as my heart is functioning at 30%. A representative from zoll called to let me know that I qualified for 100% financial assistance with the vest after providing my financial information. Then they told me I had to pay $320 deposit and would have to return the device to then which I would get only $250 back for the device. I have a pending medicaid application and am a caregiver for 2 children with Autism and asked if i could split up the payments and provide my credit card information as I have to follow up with other specialists after my admission but they denied this. I asked to speak with a supervisor and they refused and instead just talked over me and dismissed my concerns. Don't want to do business with these people if there is another company that does this I'd rather go through them.very poor customer service.

I'm so glad that my mom is better and does not have to wear this mess ever again. The experience of dealing with customer service and people not knowing what's going on is nerve wracking.

Brochure instructions are completely unclear. According to the index, on pages 2-2 and 3-6 there are supposed to be instructions on how to sleep with the device. ”Sleep”isn’t mentioned on either page. I called the company and their answer is they “can’t change the instructions because they need FDA approval and you know how slow that is. ”
I was also told that I would “learn to sleep with the device”, though it has a short cord, is quite heavy, and would have to manually be repositioned every time I move at night. I am not impressed. This company can do better. Perhaps they will when they have competition that handles this better than they do.

My father died on July 2 2022 and this company has refused to return the deposit from the equipment that was returned to them on July 9th. I was told that since my father had passed away they where keeping the 316.00 tgat should have been returned. They gave me the run around after I sent my father's death certificate to them they still will not return the money

Applied for a job through them over 3 months back. Took 6 weeks for the background check and employment verification. They said I was cleared for training and now it's been like 2 months since then and they don't even respond to my emails anymore. I started looking up information about them online and come to find out, most customers are unsatisfied due to faulty equipment and unmentioned fees. Another classic example of the poor American healthcare system that's just trying to make money while they sit on their a**. Thumbs down all the way!

Just received a bill for over 36K demanding i return a life vest equipment that is overdue. My name and address were on the bill. I never had/used any medical devices in my life! I called and "Craig" told me: "it happens all the time, my dad and i have the same name. " This is fraud. The elderly would pay out of fear. Beware of this company's deceiving practice.
