ZooAmerica reviews
13My kids loved seeing all the animals, the coolest part was when we were looking at the wolves and an ambulance went by the wolves all started howling. It was so cool to see ans hear them. Obviously this is not a normal occurrence, but just seeing the animals would have been enough.
Awesome unexpected benefit to Hershey Park. I saw a wolf for my first time, and it was amazing. All the animals looked well cared for. Definitely recommend checking out whether or not you go to Hershey Park.
A very nice walkable zoo in the park. A nice side adventure if the actual park is overcrowded and you need a break. You can enter zoo America through Hersheypark which is free with your regular admission.
Even though this is not a huge zoo experience, it has a wide selection, different types of animals. I especially love the owls and eagle.
We had a wonderful time on the 8am private tour- it was well worth the cost. We were the only people in the park aside for staff, and all the animals were out and active since it was quiet. Our guide (Ash) was a lovely person and very knowledgeable. Lots of special memories made.
Great little zoo. All North America animals. Free with park admission. $15 per person admission without park admission.
Our family of 7 went to Hershey Park and visited Zoo America and were very happy to see Black Bear, Bald Eagles, Ottters, Elk, Wolves and many other exhibits. All well kept and natural looking. Highly recommend.
Decent sized zoo with quite a bit of species that's connected to the Hershey Park. Nice experience for going once or couple more times if you are into wildlife.
Our visit to ZooAmerica in Hershey, PA, was truly memorable, filled with exciting activities and fascinating wildlife encounters. The diverse range of exhibits and engaging displays ensured that there was never a dull moment during our trip.
One of the highlights was spending time observing the playful otters. Their energetic antics and underwater acrobatics provided entertainment for visitors of all ages. The bear exhibit was equally impressive, allowing us to witness these majestic creatures up close and learn more about their natural behaviors.
The wolf exhibit was a definite standout, offering a unique and captivating experience. The wolves' presence was both powerful and intriguing, providing insight into the beauty and importance of these incredible animals in the wild. The knowledgeable staff added depth to the experience, sharing interesting facts and answering questions with enthusiasm.
The overall atmosphere of ZooAmerica was welcoming and family-friendly. The exhibits were well-maintained, and the cleanliness of the facilities added to the positive experience. It's evident that the staff is dedicated to the well-being of the animals and the satisfaction of visitors.
Our trip to ZooAmerica was not only entertaining but also educational. The combination of wildlife observation and informative displays created a well-rounded experience. I highly recommend ZooAmerica in Hershey, PA, for anyone seeking a delightful blend of fun and learning in a beautiful setting.
The enclosures are way too small for the animals natural range. The other enclosure is tiny and three wolves are in such a small area. Not my cup of tea.
We used our reciprocal membership for half off admission. Spent two hours with a toddler and no stroller.
It's a small Zoo. No large animals. But I believe that they said that what they have are rescues. And can't be put back in the wild.
Our tickets were free with the purchase of Hershey Park tickets.
Small "zoo" that wasn't worth the money. We received free access with our ticket to Hersheypark, and it still felt like a waste of time. Not many animals, and the animals you do see in the zoo, are commonly seen in North America
