Convenience Store 7-Eleven reviews
5Wish I could leave 0 stars. Super disrespectful staff. I order online orders through their app for my dad. When he gets there he gives them the code and they scream at him and try not to give the order because they don’t even understand how the app works. I just can’t believe they yelled at him today and told him to shut his mouth because he asked for the drink from his order. Definitely never ordering here again there behavior is beyond ridiculous
My teenager who happens to be a girl of color walked in there yesterday with two friends and a gentleman clerk stood at the door. When they were about to walk out he asked “did you take the gum? ” and pointed to my daughter who is the darker of her two friends and my daughter said no & he moved out of the doorway and allowed them to leave.
I understand they have instances of teenagers from there but to assume that a black girl is stealing solely based on the color of her skin is NOT OK! I didn’t raise my child to ever steal or have any need to steal! This is completely unacceptable and I am reporting this to the BBB!
You plant your business in urban communities knowing you’re going to profit off of the same people you racially profile. If you assume all black/brown people steal and you’re concerned with profit loss then move your business to the suburban areas where your businesses would flop because they do not spend their money on your stores!
For some God forsaken reason they had signs up indicating that they were only accepting cash because their readers were down. I had to go elsewhere.
More recently, September 26,2023 I went to the store to purchase three packs of cigarettes. I paid $40.80 in cash I only realized that they overcharged me. I went back to the store and told them as much. The store manager yelled at me and would not give me my money back or a pack of cigarettes. I told him it was not right and he yelled for me to leave the store. Even threatened to call the police. WOW! That is beyond unethical.
They don't take care of their property or care for the community they serve.
Super rude unhelpful lady I talked to recently. Most 7/11’s I’ve been to weren’t this bad. I’m sorry but if you hate your job that much you should look for another one.
Really imcompetent staff. I ordered a pizza using rewards which should be $5. Instead it was $7+. I told the clerk that it should be $5. He shrugged and said "No, it's $7+". I pointed to the display sign which said $5 and he said "I'm not sure, maybe that's for pepperoni". I pointed out it that the sign says 'cheese or pepperoni' and he said "Oh, well maybe that's if you buy 2". No. Not what the sign says. Real stalemate and he didn't seem to want to figure out the problem. I was about to walk out. Finally he pressed a button on his register to add my rewards and said "Ok, now it's $5".
