Anna was amazing with our newborn and we got the most precious images. The entire process from booking to getting the photos was easy and Anna explained everything we needed to know.

Anna was awesome, so down to earth and put the whole family at ease. She even carries your stuff while finding the best light and taking photos.

Anna was amazing to work with on the Christmas mini-session. My toddler, who can be shy warmed up to her almost immediately. Can’t wait to book a beach photoshoot next Spring. Highly recommend. The pictures came out beautiful and the turnaround time for edits was fast. A+

This was my first professionally taken picture since high school! I was very nervous, but Anna was a GREAT director and communicator, she made it fun, and took my anxiousness away! The results are edited without being unnatural, I am pleased with my work headshot.

Anna was able to help bring my vision alive. I wanted a whimsical photo shoot for my daughter’s 1st birthday/year and we were able to go on location and get a numerous amount of beautiful pictures. Communication was prompt, she made it easy and always gave a response the same day or the following. Anna was helpful, patient and dedicated. I will continue to work with her for all of my daughter’s milestones!

I had an unfortunate experience with Anna Kay Photography. We had discussed an extended family shoot while our group was in Rhode Island on holiday this summer. She noted that we were from out of state and would not necessarily make sense for a print package and promised we could do digital links. We discussed her rate of $400 for travel, the 45 minute shoot, and the edited images. After we saw the images we picked 18 that seemed good for us and at that point she revealed that a digital link was low res $100/file and high res $140/file. Our total came out to an additional 3k. My jaw dropped as she had never assigned a value to a digital link and I thought the $400 included the edited images. It was a massive misunderstanding and a total waste of my family's time as she refused to make honest efforts to meet me anywhere in the middle. Ultimately she refunded the $400 fee and my family has no images of our group which is so depressing as Narragansett is incredibly important to our family history and all of the children are at their cutest stage. The moment was completely lost due to Anna's unwillingness to accept responsibility for the confusion she caused.

She seems like a nice person but I was so disappointed that she never attempted to own up to her part in the confusion (digital links do not have a monetary value on her menu/ the website/ in our email thread). I feel she made up the price for my particular needs and then was disappointed to make less. I'd advise to get clarity on everything and note that even though she is a pleasant person she only cares about her (potentially made up) bottom line.

Anna is an absolute dream to work with. She’s done our baby announcement, maternity and newborn photos and everything was beyond our expectations. Anna is such a natural talent and really makes you feel comfortable and at ease while taking pictures. Her editing is top notch and I love that she goes above and beyond for us. I couldn’t recommend her enough I’m super happy we found Anna to take such important pictures for our family!

I found Anna Kay photography after having my daughter 2 weeks early and not having been prepared ahead of time for newborn pictures. She was able to squeeze me in and get me in very quickly so that I would not miss that precious newborn window for photos. Not only did she accommodate me last minute, but she was also willing to work with me and offer me the perfect package that fit exactly with my families needs. During the shoot Anna was great with my baby and worked very hard to get those adorable new baby photos even when my little girl didn’t want to cooperate. Anna made me feel so at ease during the shoot, chatting with her felt like I was hanging with an old friend. Our pictures came out beautiful and her turn around time to get them back to us was very quick. Thank you so much Anna! We can not wait to come back for family photos! 10/10 recommend!

We were looking for a new photographer because the one we were using for many years moved. We were SO lucky that someone recommended Anna. She made the transition for us seamless. She was so easy to work with, very accommodating and does fabulous work! You will not be disappointed! We are looking forward to working with her again next year.

Anna was so patient and accommodating to my family and my daughter for her 1st birthday pictures. Anna was thorough and really recreated the look we were going for. In fact, she did even better than the original vision we were looking for! Photos were excellent quality and Anna’s communication was consistent. She made us, especially my daughter, so comfortable during her first photo shoot. My family would absolutely recommend Anna’s services, and plan to work with her again in the future!

Anna is, IMHO, the best Newborn and Family Portraiture Photographer there is! She is professional and creates, not just photos, but Art! I'm always amazed when I browse through her artwork! I wish she was out in San Diego. We would book her for our family portraiture session in a heartbeat!

Anna from Anna Kay Photography is phenomenal! She’s patient, creative and knowledgeable (not to mention funny!). We’ve taken a number of photoshoots with her - engagement, gender announcement, maternity, newborn, milestone, Halloween, family, and Christmas pictures - and every shoot is better than the previous one! I’m already planning next year’s photo options!
