My roommate and I have lived on the third floor unit of a multi family 3 floor home managed by Armory Management for almost 3 years now.

The first leasing agent, Stephanie, was extremely unorganized but at least she replied to every communication. Maintenance also responded to requests our first year. It wasn’t great management but it could have been worse. Sadly that's what you have to settle for sometimes as a renter. It's unfortunate.

But then, seems like the staff changed or something went super downhill after that first year. Leasing agent changed to Kara Zopfi - who, like another review says, is hostile and rude. She barely replies. And when she does, she has an attitude and is unhelpful. Maintenance has also not replied to us in about two years. Not sure they even have a maintenance department at this point. No response to any communications from our end regarding mice, bugs, and even birds. Yes, birds. Somehow birds made it into the basement and bird feces started appearing on the walls of the shared stairwell. No reply.

Now, the house is for sale and all three floors have to constantly deal with parading strangers into our spaces. Not sure if the owner is aware but they are basically paying Armory Management to manage a rental without doing any of the actual work. This "management" company is a joke.

Few things that come to mind. Our snow shovels, which we, the tenants at unit 3 owned and purchased ourselves, which were labeled as "property of apt 3" were taken by the management company to go use at another one of their spaces without asking or saying anything. They never returned them and we had to use a baking sheet to “shovel” our driveway last winter in order to get our car out and get to work. Our heat went out and maintenance didn’t reply or pick up the phone for about 5 hours in below 32 weather. During business hours. We had an instance of a stranger showing up to our apartment, with a key, for a showing — and were not given any notice. They walked in on my roommate sleeping, half dressed. Totally violating. I sent them photos of bird feces that had appeared on my door, my window, and my floor. As well as more bird feces in the basement. No reply. Have asked them to repair the light on the second floor stairway so that I don’t trip trying to get into my apartment at night. No reply! Our car was broken into twice. First time was on their "protected, surveilled, and monitored" lot at the Plant lofts - which we were given access to park in. Upon asking them for cctv footage for the police report, they shrugged and said it's not actually monitored.

My name is spelled "Suzzhane Yemeyziayan" on the lease in 9 instances. Told them that's not how it's spelled, provided them with spelling.not to mention they had several documents with my name to reference. They proceeded to "correct" it to "Suzanne Yemememyan". Not a huge deal, sure, but speaks volumes to the lack of professionalism.

Our rent has been increased about 380 dollars within these 3 years from when we initially moved in. Yet the management of the actual space has gone downhill, close to nonexistent management. This has been nothing short of a migraine and not worth it. Will not be renewing our lease if given the chance. And will certainly steer clear of rentals involved with this incredibly unprofessional and incompetent management company.

I rent a second floor apartment in a 3 floor home near Valley from Armory Management Company. I can’t run my ac or have my oven on without tripping a breaker and randomly will have nothing but ice cold water for weeks. I have struggled to get maintenance to come out at all and they never fully fix the water. They are way to cheap to fix the electrical so the keep ignoring me. But it’s ok for them to parade people through my place regularly to sell this dump for the owner. The place has mice and bugs.

Every interaction we have had with Armory Management has been unprofessional. They have failed to communicate with us on multiple accounts and for extended periods (more than 6 months after an initial request), and we have not gotten anything at our property fixed or looked at through them- we have always had to go direct to the owner, which is exactly what we are not supposed to have to do with a management company. Kara Zopfi is extremely rude and hostile, and she will treat you terribly for no reason.

For example, we have been asking for our windows to be fixed since our move in date and sent multiple emails regarding this and every time Armory plays ignorant saying they will forward our request to the owner and then proceed to do nothing. We found ourselves with freezing temperatures below 50 degrees farenheit in the winter with the heating not working and the only solution given to us by Armory was to switch on our OVEN to warm up the house. The only nice person we interacted with was Mindy but she left almost a year ago.lucky her.

I do not recommend renting a property managed by Armory if you can avoid it. Some of the properties they manage are good (and the owners reasonable) - but the management company itself is not good at managing, as every issue is met with radio silence.

If I could post 0 stars, I would. A massive pipe burst above our apartment at the Pearl Street Lofts and destroyed all our stuff and our lives. We had to emergency evacuate and the management company was nowhere to be seen. Truly Slum Lords— buildings are rotting, they do bare minimum/nothing at all. I discovered rotting floorboards in the hallway this summer and they had an open hole in the middle of the hallway for a month. No safety controls in place, just a massive hole. Terrible!

I rented office space with Armory for the last 5 years and they are very responsive to requests. It's been a great experience - highly recommend!

Have been renting from them for 20 years. They are the best. Any and every issue is always dealt with timely and efficiently.
