Baba's Original New York System

It was a great place to get a good hot dog, and relax with my son. Thank you for taking good care of us, and we will be back. We are headed back to Jacksonville, TX.

Once you walk in, you get that good meat sauce smell that just makes you wanna dig into it so fast. The place is clean and organized. Baba is a sweet owner as well with one waitress that served me and my friends. I believe her name was Busay not sure how to spell but she was so sweet as well. Very nice new owners. Many goodlucks to you guys. You guys deserve it. Also, the Peanut Butter Shake is to die for thanks once again. Definitely recommend!

Good food my second meal out of that place I was happy with the steak and cheese but was unhappy when I opened up steak and cheese up and I had to wrestle with it because it fall apart

I had nachos, gyro, and a tiramisu dessert to go. The food was so so. Given the conditions of the pandemic, it is nice that the restaurant is open.

Baba's is 1 of 6 small businesses in Smith Hill. They have the most diverse menu of any N. Y. System.

I’m giving an honest review. This place has a great hot wiener. I’ve been going to olneyville for years and didn’t even know this place existed.but this place is better. The fries were good too. The only thing I wish was that there were more onion on them. That’s okay though! Next time I will just ask for more onion. I think it’s still worthy of a 5 star! Will order again.

AMAZING food! The prices are super reasonable, the restaurant itself is adorable, and the staff could not be better - so friendly and sweet! I cannot wait to go back!:)

Always super friendly service; even now with the make and the social distancing. The food is ALWAYS excellent, no matter what you get. Take out and (scaled down) dine in currently available. Go check them out and say hello for me. They’re wonderful people.

The best NEW YORK SYSTEM in RHODE ISLAND
Milkshakes, Burgers, Fries, Weiners, you name it! Everything is tasteful. Clean restaurant. Amazing staff.

What a gem of a place. If you're driving through Providence on 95 this is the place to stop.

All over the US, different cities have their own hot dog, whether it be the chili dog in Cincinnati, the Chicago dog in.well Chicago, the Sonoran dog in Arizona, and the hot wiener in Providence, invented and made famous by this place. That in itself makes checking out this place worthwhile, but then there's also the surprisingly expansive and delicious taco bar located inside. The guy at the counter was super personable, you can tell the place still takes a lot of pride in what they do.

And definitely get a glass of coffee milk.

My wife grew up in Providence Rhode Island I'm from Miami we came a few times up to Rhode Island but I been here twice and I love it just an amazing place, great wiener's and fries

Just had a Smith hill burger tonight and we got food from here tonight for the first time since we have moved to the neighborhood.
Such a yummy burger and reminded me of a place I grew up going to in Cambridge Ma ya happy memories!
Definitely will be going back and trying more items from the menu!

Says your open till 3.just got out of work and hungry but you decided to close early. I'm a regular and defiantly won't be back.this has happened several times. FIX YOUR TIME ONLINE if your not open till 3 anymore.

Excellent service. There are many many items to choose from. Menu is so big. I love the milkshakes, Reesie‘s peanut butter shake is my favorite. Employees friendly, new owner is excellent. Definitely recommending this spot! Delicious

I have been going there for sixty years. I think the new owners have made great improvements including cleanliness.

Since 1927. Louis Armstrong autograph on display. The cheese for the cheese fries is nice and spicy. Beyond wieners, there are also Greek and Mexican options available. That fact alone places it, in my opinion, fully above Olneyville in the Providence “New York System wiener wars” that have been simmering for decades, sometimes centuries

Excellent staff, excellent food, always hot and they always get it right. I love the grilled chicken sandwiches however their nachos, burritos, burgers, hot dogs, black bean burger, fish sandwich, fish and chips, gyro.and the list go on.and on. They have a fabulous menu that will be sure to please even the pickiest. Also, great if you have allergies to food.they will accomodate.

We absolutely loved our experience at Baba's the Gaggers, Burrito and Nutella Milkshake was amazing. The owner Baba and his daughter "B" customer service and the love we recived was amazing. This is out too Place every time we are near or in Rhode Island. Check them out you will not regret it.
