Bristol Sunset Cafe reviews
14 Excellent service and a fantastic omelet. I had one with sweet onions, goat cheese, and spinach. It was super tasty
The home fries were with the red bliss potatoes that were nice as well.
The coffee was good with the server staying on top of the Refills. Very nice staff and the kitchen really knew how to put out a good breakfast!
My first time here and for sure not my last!

One of my favorite breakfast restaurants. Great food, baked goods, and service. The homemade corned beef hash is phenomenal.
Food was delicious. We were in a rush so we had to get it to go but everyone was friendly and I can't wait to go back.
Stopped by after visiting Blitheworld. I had the burger and coffee. Burger was juicy and the coffee was good (not weak). Staff was very nice.
Love the food and energetic and happy waitresses. New larger space is accompanied by more staff, so service is actually faster!
The food is great, but the service is inconsistent. We've been coming here for awhile and there's always a Specials menu. I ask for one today and was told "We don't have one. " Yet when we were almost finished with our meal I overhear a waitress say to another table "Let me get you a Specials menu. " It's one thing if you don't have one available, but if it was being worked on, that could've been brought to our attention and we would've been more than understanding. Also, the cooks need to pay better attention to what the waitress puts on the order slip. I asked to substitute avocado on my breakfast burrito instead of the broccoli that originally came on it, only to have it come to the table with broccoli on it still. Thankfully, when I brought it to the waitress' attention, she made sure I was not being charged for the avocado still. Lastly, while we had a good waitress, she could've been a little bit more attentive to the table. We had an issue with the QR code to pay for our meal and she was nowhere to be found. Needless to say, we had to take our check to the counter person to pay and get out of there.
This restaurant is great! The servers were friendly and the food was delicious. My favorite was the hash browns. I will definitely be returning.
Everything at sunset cafe is amazing. Every time I come the food, service, and beverages do not disappoint.
I really like this place. During Covid we got take out a bit from here and finally had the chance to eat in on this local visit. Food was really tasty and the atmosphere is great, just gets loud really quickly. I would have given 5 starts but the coffee is terrible, which was a mutual expression from our table of 5 coffee drinkers, and then ordered a Latte which was much better.
Sunset Cafe is always busy so we figured this local spot had to be good. Facts. The atmosphere here is relaxed and inviting with the right balance of quirky, refined, and whimsical. Pair that with a hot coffee or latte and you are off to a good start. The waitstaff was friendly and prompt. The menu has a variety that is sure meet your breakfast needs and we are going to have to come back to check out more of their baked goods. We had the OG eggs Benny and the #1. Everything was simply delicious.
Amazing food (3 for 3 on our visits) and delicious coffee. Wonderful welcoming service.
If you sit near the door or the kitchen, it can be a bit loud, I recommend sitting in the back room if you're there for conversation. If you want to say hello to the neighbors, sit up front.
We love this place.
Loved this breakfast place. The staff accommodated my needs. The food was fresh and delicious. Friendly staff and loved the vibe of the restaurant.
Great little breakfast spot on Hope Street, offering everything from Nitro Cold brew to fresh made omelettes, the Sunset Cafe has everything you need to get rid of those Sunday Scaries!
I ordered steak and eggs medium rare they came to my table well done no juice waitress never even came back to how is everything. My wife and I ordered the potatoes well done they were to our liking home fries they call him is that mines were old and dried and her plate had the most plump juiciest batch which she does not complain but she said nah that's not right quote. And the kicker the icing of the cake was a waitress goes also neither want to use want toast no we don't want bread would you like fruit salad instead sure quote if that's an even trade, I get the bill we're being charged $2 per person look I have money but it's principal shame on this establishment they kicked out the walls and acquired next door to make it bigger the girls are fantastic I purposely tipped the young man taking the seating orders because he may be 14 years old was doing a phenomenal job I had to thank him so professional tone and his attitude was so kind he deserved the tip and I did tip the waitress 20% per request of my wife I just didn't since covid many a restaurants have gone downhill I just didn't think this one would follow suit did not enjoy breakfast did not enjoy paying for the extra I wasn't aware of I feel I have the right to say something since I spend hundreds of dollars a month eating out I don't mind paying I just would like to get what I ordered and not oh well settle for this cuz everything's crazy no I will not settle shame on them don't know if I'll be back
