Buskers Pub And Restaurant, Newport RI

Touristy pub offers good food, service and location. It was a busy evening and we were lucky to find a table. Our server did us a solid and took care of us despite being understaffed. The cheesesteak and chicken sandwiches were fine. Nothing bad nor particularly memorable. We would not rush back to Buskers but all in our experience was fine.

We visit Newport several times a year. Buskers is always on our "must-do" places to eat. Our not so adventurous 5 and 14 year old children love it there too! There's great live music Saturday nights, but the kiddos can't stay for the entertainment.

Never disappoints. After a long walk over to Goat Island to enjoy another Newport Sunset. A lovely Guinness to replenish the vitamins and minerals.

Okay. So the service is not great as they're pretty low-staffed but the main pain was the price for what we got appetizer portion. Don't order mozzarella sticks. They only give you like 5 for 11 dollars. The dinner portion was very good and we enjoyed our meal but the price was pretty exorbitant for what you get.

I have waited 3 years to have their chicken salad sandwich with Brie & cranberry. It’s good, I ate every bite but I missed the plentiful bits of chopped cranberries mixed in with chicken salad instead of of canned cranberry sauce. Apples are a nice touch.

Nice selection of foods from the "old country " as my grandmother used to say. All around a good experience and great service.

Still one of my favorite spots in Newport. The Ruben is always amazing as well as all of the appetizers that I have tried. The whiskey/scotch selection is impressive.if they don't have it, nobody does.

Despite good start and good food, service after delivery of food to the table became non existent. Server never came back to ask about food quality, refresh drinks, offer coffee, offer dessert, or ask if we needed containers to take home remaining food. At least half hour after we finished dining, we had to finally stand up and put on our jackets and request the bill before she finally came to the table.

Servant was nice and friendly.
Food is not warm or hot like it’s supposed, especially soup.

The Pink Paloma was a refreshing - not heavy, and the splash of grapefruit juice gave it a nice tang. We both had their salmon entre - YUM. To top it off, their Irish bread pudding, whiskey sauce and ice cream finished the meal beautifully.

Our server was training and did a great job. Her trainer was kind to her also and that made a bignimpact on on us. We were very satisfied

Fantastic for both fun at night (with great open mike musical performances) and a great meal for lunch and dinner.

The food is very authentic and absolutely fantastic. If you are from out of town, Buskers is a must stop in!

Nice Irish pub. Perfect to drop in for a burger and a pint. Also OUTSTANDING whiskey selection from all over the world!
