Camille's, Providence RI

This place was our spontaneous pick which wowed us with their food especially their New Zealand lamb rack dish accompanied with sweet potatoes and asparagus. Their seafood pasta tasted pretty good too. They have complimentary valet and a coat check counter which provided the place an aesthetic vibe. Definitely would recommend you to give it a try because you will walk out having a good dinner!

Amazing from top to bottom. The taste, the portions, the staff, phenomenal. The staff that we communicated with were great at making recommendations and knowledgeable about the dishes. Will definitely be back!

My favorite restaurant in Providence. Been coming here for over a decade absolutely love this place. The shrimp cocktail is outrageous. Calamari is perfectly cooked. The veal parm is phenomenal as are all their dishes. Can not recommend this spot highly enough

The food was excellent. I ordered the caggiavello fritta, ravioli, and spumoni. Each course was so delicious and beautifully presented. Braedon made the experience even better with his superb service. He was courteous, professional and knowledgeable about the menu and the history of the restaurant. If I'm ever visiting Providence again, dining here will be at the top of my list.

Not sure why we were given a private room. Maybe because we were under dressed? Lasagna was too cheesy, chicken Marsala was drenched in sauce (like soup), seafood pasta was good and flavorful. The server corrected my pronunciation for everything on the menu…. I won’t go back. I will continue to spend my money at Andino’s.

The service was great. The appetizer which was calamari was excellent. I ordered Veal Franchise and that was delicious also but my side of garlic aglio was really not normal. It came with some sliced, some not sliced olives as well as it was in what appeared to be a beef broth as if it was a soup. I asked for Parmesan cheese expecting fresh grated as that’s what we use at home and that’s what I expect when you go to an upscale restaurant. It was in a bowl and was from a can. Very disappointing.

Hands down, without a doubt the best restaurant on Federal Hill! The quality and presentation is worth every penny.

The service was average, nothing special. The food was also average, nothing special. The rack of lambs were over cooked for medium well, but the sweet potato puree was a delectable complement. The calamari are served without a sauce and are rather topped with sliced banana peppers. The pasta dishes ordered at the table were bland, especially the rigatoni dish.

I would give Camille’s 6 stars if I could. It is perfection in every way. Service? Perfect. Food? Perfect. My family of 5 ordered: fried cheese, Caesar salad, beet salad, fried calamari, Zappa di Pesce, veal parmigiana, gnocchi, shrimp scampi, and rigaton alla Norma. We all tried each other’s dishes and everything was delicious. Highly recommend.

This restaurant is absolutely gorgeous with the blown glass light fixtures and elegant atmosphere. We had the octopus as an appetizer which was phenomenal. The Bolognese, meatball with ricotta and the Chicken Saltimbuca were all absolutely delicious! Excellent service, Ray took great care of us and was very personal. It was a birthday celebration, and just a wonderful magical evening

Camilles is a wonderful locals restaurant. My wife and I were in Providence for 1 night, visiting from NC, and were looking for a romantic Italian dinner. We hit the jackpot with Camilles. Service was outstanding, food was delicious and large portions. We had chicken parm and the seared tuna special, with spumoni for desert. Best Italian I've had in years. We may come back to Providence, just to revisit Camilles. Happy dining!

From providence but never had got to go here until we had a Wedding Rehersal Dinner at this spot. Literally the best food Ive ever had; feel like Ive missed out on such a great time for all these years. But going forward this is going to be the special place I recommend from now on.
One thing to note though is the entry has steps that can be somewhat iffy for older ppl so just help them out.

Perfect lunch. I'm confident this place gets packed for dinner, so I'd recommend a reservation. But they had no problem seating us for a great lunch experience.
Their staff is considerate, well trained, and gave outstanding suggestions.

I'll be back for another business lunch or an evening date.

Extremely disappointed in the Service waiter was brash and inattentive a restaurant of this reputation must realize their service must be elevated

Atmosphere is great and elegant. Portions are big and most importantly delicious! Great spot for date night! Their pear martini is delicious

Had the CAMILLE’S GRAND CHILLED SHELLFISH TOWER! I loved it. My daughter loved the GAMBERI ALLA SCAMPI

One of the best Italian meals we've had in a long time (and we easy a lot of Italian.) The bacon wrapped shrimp were delicious as was the lasagna and the gnocchi. Highly recommend!
