Mussels were delicious, you could tell all the food was fresh! Service was great and good atmosphere

I've been familiar with the region for years Growing up had family friends living On Little Comfort in the bay, I worked for a few years in a seafood plant in Galilee, used to head to the Nordic for dinner But Capt Jacks was great for lunch or it things were tite for the nordic The Food at Capt Jacks was ALWAYS top shelf and the service Always great! The fried fish was always clean and light Not Overused and greasy like some places allow they're deep fryers to get the restaurant has had a long history serving the beach folks and more and have always been awesome!

This was my first time at this place. I had a lobster roll and it was ok. Nothing great just average the bun was a bit soggy by the time I got it. Very busy and very crowded in season so give yourself time.

Didn't eat at restaurant but ordered a 6 layer birthday cake that was delicious! Also grabbed a pistachio ice cream cone that was wonderful.

While venturing out and about from CT, decided to try somewhere new. Let me just say the 4.7 star rating doesn't do it justice. I got my usual fish n chips, it was Haddock and absolutely fantastic! Even the coleslaw was good and I usually don't eat it! I honestly wish I had room for their fabulous desserts but I'm so stuffed! Use to go out to Narragansett for this type of meal but will now definitely make this the new place! Can't wait till next time!

Sat at the bar and ate. Had a great time with the bartenders and some locals. Handsome sized drinks.

Not a bad stop. Could not fill the order for 2 lobster dinners. Opted for the scallops. Food was good. Outdoor seating.

This place was recommended to us for the New England clam chowder. We must have caught them on a bad day because it was so runny and separating. I hope next year when we go back for vacation, we'll have a better experience

Awesome host and waitress. Good food. Glad we decided to try it. Definitely will be back. What a display case if desserts! Cheese cake, peanutbutter cupcake, oreo brownie were delicious. Fried clams, steamers, chowder were very good too. Great views.

First visit. Bus trip. I thought the staff was very professional. Not easy accommodating 44 people. There's always 1 person not satisfied, but that's how you know you did a great job. I'd go back.

Very nice restaurant with a local vibe. The Osprey nest in the parking lot is way cool. I especially enjoyed the clam cakes and Rhode Island chowder (chowdah). The deserts are to die for.

Not the same as in previous years. We ordered fish and chips, an extra orders of fries, and chowder to enjoy at the beach. The fries were completely different, small portion of fish and skimpy French fry portions. Take out menu very limited, no vegan options. This used to be our favorite spot to stop after the beach. Disappointed. We had better fries at East Matunuck beach down the street.

Fish and chips were amazing, clam chowder was really disappointing. They had a giant osprey nest you could see from the outdoor seating!

The desserts r incredible. The whole belly clams were awful. The coleslaw was unappetizing and watery. The steak tip sub was above average. The wedge salad was almost perfect. The flies r everywhere.in the food, on the table, on our bodies and hair. We came here years ago and now I remember why we didn't come back. But truly the desserts r incredible!

Service was excellent but the food was burned after waiting 1 hour. And also the shrimp was not washed and devained upon serving. Well never come back again

Fun & easy going lil pit stop. Not the biggest selection of food, good conversion tho & the drinks were well made. 17.50 for a few chicken wings is too much tho.
