Caserta Pizzeria reviews
19 Love! Wimpys are my favorite. I get extra ones and freeze them for a later time.
Cheese pizza with olives well done. That's my order every time. Best pizza on the hill
This pizza and pie in a blanket we're like no other. The dough was soft delicious and had a touch of corn meal feel to it. The sauce was very light and delicious. The cheese blend was amazing. The staff were slammed and it's always busy. They do an amazing job to try and help u get in and out.
Solid reliable way better than average pizza. The sauce is spot on with a touch of acidity that I love. Cheese, Roni, and crust are all great. Grabbed a pepper pig and a spinach pie. The pigs were good. The shape is about a #10 envelope and have a hot sausage (cut down the middle lengthwise) with just a kiss if sauce In them. Very good in my opinion. Spinach pie had half moon crust that was a bit drier than I expected, but had an awesome crunch with just a hint of give to it. I prefer mom's to theirs for level of season on the filling, but this was well worth the price and I will order again the next time I'm in the area.
Yes. The pizza is fantastic. But during my trip to RI, this is where I finally got my spinach pie and it was hot and oily and glorious. As for the pizza, it's the one place that puts enough sauce!
One of the best pizzas I've ever had and so inexpensive too! The staff is really friendly! Definitely visit this place if you visit Providence!
Best pizza place around! I almost ate a whole large pepperoni & olive pizza! Their pizza is made perfectly, I don't eat flour or bread to often but when I do I order from Caserta Pizzeria or Pizza King in Warwick. Delicious
This place is a Providence institution, and for good reason. The food is just awesome! The service is great, and the prices reasonable. I've been going here for 60 years, and I make sure I go there every time I'm in New England.
I bought a large pizza and wimpy Skippy today. Told me it would take 20 minutes which was fine. I got waited on the parking lot for 17 minutes then went in. She told me it just came out, but the box was not hot usually I have trouble carrying it to the car. When I got home it was not even warm. All the other times I brought it home it was warm when I got home. Also, the large pizza was very small it did not even fit the box and I couldn't even see or taste any mozzarella on it. The wimpy was not cooked enough, was still white color, barely any pepperoni or cheese. I've always bragged about their pizza. I was truly disappointed today. Don't know if I will go back again.
I have grown up eating Caserta's pizza, and whenever I return to Rhode Island for a visit, getting a pizza from Caserta is a priority for me. I've lived all over the country and have never found any pizza to rival it
This place has the best pizza of any other place I've been. I've only been there twice because unfortunately I live over an hour away
This place is one of rhode island best places to visit best pizza and ofcours wimpy skimpy and pepper pig all excellent choices to get her prices are pretty reasonable the service is great short waiting times definitely will not regret going here I've ben going her since I was a child and will continue to till I can't lol so give it a shot if u never been there u will not regret it
Fantastic! The best ever! I use to live here in RI long time ago, I come to visit every couple of years and always come here never disappointed always good
I love, love, love this pizza! It brings back memories of hanging out in Little Italy back in the day. Sooo, whenever I'm in town I have to grab a pepperoni pizza! It never disappoints.
Solid pizza joint! I didn't understand why I couldn't get vegetable toppies but otherwise, it was still good. The dine in facility was big and accomadated a nice size crowd. Even for the lunch hour, the service was pretty fast. I'd definitely go back if I'm passing through Providence.
Best Sicilian pizza around. The same great pizza for as long as I can remember. Anytime there is a special occasion we get Caserta's.
Great pizza, world famous " Wimpy Skimpy" calzone, Italian neighborhood surrounded by all kinds of great restaurants, cafes. Desserts, etc.must experience!
Love Caserta pizza put hope they open dining room soon. I don’t live close by, Pizza would be cold by the time I got home. Everything there is delicious!
One star could have been more if it wasn't for the fresh counter help. Because we have a newborn baby in the family I wore a mask. Young woman told the cook in the back, "I need one covid box to go".
Not sure if this place was sold to a different owner but definitely not the same Caserta Pizza that I grew up with. At this point it seems like it's a 50-50 shot that depending upon who's make the pizza you're going to get that quality Caserta's that once was every time you ordered. Pizza dough did not have that fluffy texture with the crispy crust flavor and not much sauce very dry, loved this pizza but not worth taking a chance and price for disappointing quality. Even the wimpy skimpies had very little spinach in it.
Very disappointed!
