Center of New England Urgent Care reviews
14What an absolute awful place. Dr. Anthony Farina is a hostel abusive person, seeing the way he speaks to the staff alone should make you NEVER want to patronize such a place.
I just moved here from San Diego. Unfortunately, went all this time not getting Covid until I moved here. Went to the urgent care to get medicine for Covid. The entire staff was so nice. Dr. Farina is very thorough! He even decide to get me x-rays and there I found out I had pneumonia in my right lung. I had no clue. I decided to make him my PCM and he’s been AWESOME! He’s patient, thorough and explains everything. The staff is so nice and helpful.
Dr. Farina is a scammer, he is failing very badly at what he does. He is not a professional practitioner of medicine. He is getting his pockets lined up.disgraceful family, your parents would of been ashamed of you.
Avoid this place at all costs. After going twice over the last couple years, I can say from experience that they are incredibly disorganized and deceptive. They will weasel you for every small expense and order every test just to milk the system with zero transparency. Despite paying every bill on time, bills keep coming and there's something else we're being charged for. They scheduled tests for us without calling our insurance to approve coverage - which could have been catastrophic if we hadn't called ourselves and cancelled the appointments. The staff is rude and very unhelpful. I don't trust this place at all and will not being going back there.
This office is by far the worst medical office practicing medicine in the state of Rhode Island. The providers that work there care about the patients but management does not, do not consider coming here as a patient if you want to live a longer life. Anthony Farina is a rude, bully and arrogant he mistreats his employees and they do not put in any effort into caring for their patients, this office holds medication hostage from its patients and always requires them to come in to the office for a refill even non-critical meds, this is a business not a medical practice. The people are clients and customers not patients. Stay away from this place, do not consider working here they will screw your life.
This place is a joke. There is an older lady that works there that is very rude. Brought my husband who didn't feel good and all she was worried about was him putting a mask on when her mask wasn't even on properly. If you are that dang scared of catching something then find a different career. Not everyone who is sick has COVID so get over it. Oh and they weren't even sure if they had COVID test which she was certain he was gonna need. Stop living in fear people.
NOT GO HERE. GO TO CAREWELL INSTEAD!
I gave it one star. I wish I could have given it a negative star. They staff was extremely rude. Just lounging around. I had to leave they were so rude and careless.
Stay far away.
Farina was my PCP for 2 years before he temporarily lost his license for working while knowingly having COVID. The staff are rude and they take forever to send your files. Even getting a simple prescription filled was a pain. Absolutely no reason to go with other good clinics nearby.
I have to say you can not always go by bad reviews at all. I have been with Anthony for more then 25 years and my family also goes here, listens and cares and He doesn’t only prescribe medication he gets to the bottom of it and he stays on top of the issue. My son has kidney failure stage 5 and he is a great support and doctor. Don’t always judge someone based on reviews. This is a lesson learn I go to the East Greenwich office I am in and out love it here Hi to Anthony, Rose and Pat and staff. I appreciate you guys I love you guys thank you so much for your support and your service which is on and beyond especially days like now
What kind of place IS THIS?
I called to make an appointment for a COVID test and their message states that due to the PANDEMIC they have DECREASED their hours to 10-2 (SMACK dab in the middle of typical work days) and gotten rid of weekend appointments. Then I get transferred to the HORRID receptionist who just transfers me MID-SENTENCE without saying hang on or ANYTHING.just transfer music. Then the line rings and rings and rings and rings then finally just a busy signal and hangs up.
YOU PEOPLE ARE MONSTROUS!
This is quite literally the worst, most unprofessional, rude, useless and incompetent walk in clinic I've ever been to in my life. I advise anyone reading this and seeing the other "reviews" to check out the overall tone of every 5 star review left for this place. Do they sound like they've been written by someone who genuinely went here for a medical problem? Or do they all have similar vague reasons for being there ("l things like "I wasn't feeling too well" or "I had a medical issue") followed by very generic praise for the staff and overall experience, but without giving any REAL details aside from saying things like "they made me laugh" or even more laughable- "they were attentive ". Sorry guys. I know you're business is probably struggling horribly, but it's because you are awful at your jobs, pure and simple. And posting a handful of phony 5-star reviews on Google like you've done isn't going to ever do much damage control- at least not as long as the reviews themselves continue to sound like they were written by a 5th grader. If you want more business. *DO* BETTER BUSINESS.
Rude staff, Dr. Farina is never at the office. He is too busy screaming at staff that never seems to get anything correct. He doesn''t compensate his staff as he should that's why no qualified staff works here.
Hours on door and on recorded message don’t actually reflect the actual hours that they are open. Only open half the week. Not helpful as a walk in urgent care center.
I cut myself and needed stitches. I arrived at 2: 10pm and they were closed at 2: 00pm. They saw that I needed stitches and let me in. The doc did the stitches quickly and painlessly. The doctor was professional and kind. I also had the pleasure of working with nurse Rose who was funny and helpful. It was an amazing experience and I have nothing but positive things to say!
